Any way I can find this movie in particular? It seems like it's not public domain and no streaming service has it. It's from 1928.

Apparently some countries had it for screening in recent years but no digital back up seems to be on any website. Not even clips on youtube

It IS public domain, but there's no digital copy of it. https://www.silentera.com/PSFL/data/S/Sideshow1928.html

Thanks. What a shame.

The irony of people who think they need some esoteric, complex method of pirating is that they forget to look at the most obvious places; you can find movies like The Man Who Laughs or Wings on youtube, but not things like Godzilla since this one is owned by a company. Other sites have archives of copyright-free movies. These type of movies are rather easier to search, but it was not the case for this one
