Looking for manga recommendations that have a romance with a girl that's something like Anjou from Yancha Gal or Reze from Chainsaw Man; so like flirty and expressive but secretly really earnest and genuine about their feelings.
>>1560456Are you the Rezebab who was asking for recommendations the other day? Saw your post on /csm/ but I forgot to actually reply to it.I wanted to recommend this one, pic related. MC and feMC start off hating each other's guts, but they slowly start falling in love with each other as the story progresses. Their chemistry is really good, they're constantly at each other's throats until they realize just how much they're into each other. feMC is horny as fuck too and the author is a woman so that's cool. Progression is smooth and there's no retarded drama like NTR-bait or anything like that which is something that I really appreciate. Hopefully this'll help you deal with the Reze curse. I know that pain a bit too well because I adore her.
>>1560506Aye that was me lol, thanks for the rec! And yeah, she's certainly buried herself deep into my brain and I have yet to cope with it.
Bump
>>1560456Could you elaborate on the sort of personalities you are looking for? I haven't read either of those (though I plan to).
>>1560988It's at the end of the OP: Flirty and expressive, but with the feelings beneath that being genuine. Basically girls that aren't shy about their attraction and intentions, but the intentions are genuine love/romance. I guess it's the reverse of the archetype where the flirty girl is just using the MC, instead she's just being herself and she means it. Another sort of touchstone would that she plays around with the MC, teasing him and playing innocent jokes on him etc. Some more close characters I guess would be like Yamada from Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You, Kaoru from Amagami, Zero Two from Darling in the Franxx, etc.
Perhaps Larisa from the webcomic "Sandra and Woo". Pic related is an example of how she acts towards her boyfriend.https://www.sandraandwoo.com/2000/01/01/welcome-to-sandra-and-woo/Caveat is that while Larisa is a major characters they're not the main ones. And Her BF is more of a side character. Most of the characters are kids. Comic is mostly slice of life. The comic starts off strong, but The quality kinda drops off after a certain point. The quality becomes quite variable afterwards from what I remember. There's a few bits through out the comic that i'd criticize for various reasons, though I'm not getting into it here. The author has other comics too. I haven't read Scarlet, so I can't comment on that one. His other comic Gaia is probably better executed than S&W. However, it's not a romance comic. It's a high fantasy adventure comic.https://www.sandraandwoo.com/gaia/2023/04/01/cover-2/Viviana is one of the main protagonists of the Gaia comic, but she doesn't show up at first. IIRC, she sometimes behaves like that (to lesser extent than Larisa), though she's also kinda tomboyish at the same time. At one point she grabs and kisses her eventual love interest to hide her face from some guards. However, it's been a while since I read the comic.
>>1561046RIP Woo's animal friends.
>>1560959i guess, tell us what you think of the recs people give you after reading them.
There's not really much in terms of plot, from what I can tell, so I guess you can read it on any order.https://x.com/Nhim_ArtThe character mimi that this artist draws acts like this towards her BF or love interest or whatever. You can read them on order in mangadex, since he uploaded all of them there:https://mangadex.org/chapter/d3225a57-7b1a-45c0-b49e-fbdfd6051e8b>Her name is Mimi, she's a completely normal and well adjusted human being. This is her story.
>>1561069huh you can also read it in order on pixiv:https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/124182279
>>1560456Oh yeah, Rise from Persona 4 certainly fits.
