Can you find me some good "old school" style mattresses? Ones with an innerspring, non-pocketed Bonnell or Offset coil design, no gel, latex, excessive padding, or gimmicky bullshit, and are flippable & double sided; the same as what I would find like 20+ years ago. I need a new box spring as well, and I mean a real box spring, not a stiff rigid metal/wood platform.

It all has to be a queen size, and the total height from the bottom of the box spring to the top of the mattress has to be at least 16 +-1 inches. Just show me what I asked for.
>>
Bump, because of the illiterate morons in the last thread who just recommended what I specifically said I didn't want and ignored what I did say I want, and the other idiot recommending an obscure mattress store that isn't even a nationwide chain, and with a generic name that too many different companies use; I sure as hell never heard of it. They should all sue each other just so we could see who comes out on top.

Also, key terms are not hard to look up, especially when they're capitalized and they're clearly words you aren't familiar with. This stupidity is the exact shit that got my previous bed thrown out. Imagine your ignorant mother offering to buy you a new mattress, and you tell her no and that your current mattress is fine, and she gets all obsessive and argumentative, and then buys a new one without your permission. You end up hating it because it isn't comfortable and not anything you wanted to begin with, being forced to sleep on the daily and nightly disappointment for the better part of a decade, and her telling you that she thought it would make you happy... So apparently she thinks the way to make people happy is to do the exact thing people are telling you not to do. Imagine being completely incapable of just ASKING "what will make you happy?".

It's not like I'm ever going to like any other type of mattress until I try what I used to have once again, without it being forcibly taken. This new shit didn't even last a decade, and isn't the right height for my bedframe. All that shitty "innovation" just to break your heart...

Imagine not fucking living with your mother
Imagine getting a fucking job
Imagine why your dad left (it's you)

>and the other idiot recommending an obscure mattress store that isn't even a nationwide chain
You're here, calling me an idiot when you can't even be bothered to say what country you live in, let alone what fucking state or city. I told you a fucking source, they've made those mattresses in house since the 1960's. You want something that ships worldwide, go get yourself a vacuum sealed foam thing and drive your local mattress manufacturers out of business

Imagine being on better terms with your parents these days but still living with them because it's convenient and you don't really care to move out, and it's actually better for everyone when old wrongs are righted, but the world still can't change overnight, and we're still living with shit from the past.
Imagine already having a job.
And imagine dad still being here.
No, that's impossible for you.

>>1561291
Yes, I am here calling you an idiot because you didn't have the sense to ask where I'm from even though you knew it was going to be a problem. And you are especially an idiot because when I asked you which store, you just said "mine", and when I asked you to provide a link to make sure we are talking about the same company, you didn't respond. >>1559240 >>1559384
Imagine having such a bad memory that you think you weren't the one acting like a fucking retard.

This product is obviously something you should obtain locally. Where exactly are you located?

No it isn't.

If you're not smart enough to tell me which store you are talking about when being asked, then you are not smart enough to make a mattress I want, because you'll probably fuck it up too.

Tell me, if someone is asking you "which store", how do you think "mine" is supposed to let them know which one? Especially in a world of 8,000,000,000 people, and 1,000,000,000 speakers of English across at least 88 countries. You didn't even clarify when I asked you to; you had all this time before the last thread was archived, and you said nothing. I could be a Canadian too (if we are indeed talking about the one in Vancouver I previously found myself on Google because you are useless), and I still wouldn't know what the hell you were talking about because you refused to tell me anything besides a generic name!

Why is it that after I called you an idiot, then, and only then, did you decide to give more info? You could've been talking about a Mr. Mattress in England, with no website, and I would've had no idea because you didn't want to tell me anything about your store! I'm not sure why you were binging up international shipping though, despite not knowing where I was from at the time if you're so self centered that you believe everyone on the internet is from Vancouver. Are you just THAT bad at advertising? According to your website, you only make Continuous coil and Pocketed coil mattresses anyway, neither of which I want. (But you never provided a link like I asked, nor told me if you even have a website or not, so who truly knows if this is really your store and not a coincidence.)

You don't make Bonnell or Offset coil mattresses, I'm in a different country, and you are bringing up international shipping like it's going to be a problem; you aren't able to help me anyway.
>>
OP-san you're kind of a raging faggot and no one will want to help you when you talk to them this way desu try reddit maybe
>>
>>1561421
I'm not the only person practically being driven crazy over not being able to find a decent minimalist mattress with all this new age crap flooding the market. It wouldn't be so difficult if all mattresses were still flat shipped, cause the compressed and rolled innersprings are not as structurally sound as the flat shipped ones, so I have to weed those out too.

>INB4 but those don't exist
They do, a relative had one delivered several years ago and I watched the delivery men unpack it.

The whole reason this started is because I inherited a bedroom set from my maternal grandparents, (including the mattress and box spring), and my mother hates her parents, so her OCD was running wild about something that doesn't even pertain to her. The mattress wasn't sagging, wasn't dirty, didn't have any holes in it, and it wasn't even stained anywhere. The mattress set probably wasn't even as old as we all thought it was. A perfectly good mattress was wasted for nothing, and the new one started sagging within the first few years. I was like 15, what else what I was supposed to do in an abusive home with no free will? I'm in my mid 20s now, everyone has stopped fighting and destroying shit constantly, family therapy was fucking useless because none of them wanted to go to it and they all went back on their word, and we had trouble getting insurance to pay for it, so I had to be the one to stop everyone. But we are still people, we aren't incorporeal entities that only exist on the internet and float around in the void, we still live with stuff we had, and the world still moves on. So that's where I'm at now.

>INB4 dOnT YOu KnoW mAtTrEssEs gEt heVieR oVer tImE1?!/!?1/!?!
My mother tried to say the same thing, you can just clean them and vacuum out dust and skin flakes. That's one of Kirby's advertising points, which we now have, this wasn't some biohazard, this was mental illness and generational abuse.
>>
>>1561421
Also, not one person has even recommend a Bonnell or Offset coil mattress yet, in either thread. Not even the guy mentioning Allswell mattresses (they only make pocketed coil hybrid mattresses).

People spamming what I said I don't want isn't what the word help means. I gave specifications, no one has matched them.
>>
>>1561418
Uh, I didn't read your rant. Did you say where you live? It's all I asked, not something about England or your mother, wow
>>
>>1561436
I was telling you about how much you aren't capable of helping me. Why do you want to know where I live if you can't ship me a Bonnell or Offset coil Queen size mattress with a real box spring, not totaling more than 17 inches in height?

I'll say again, your store does not offer Bonnell or Offset coil mattresses!

A mattress like you described is ABSOLUTELY something you should source locally. The national brands ship across the lower 48 because they make a universal product that you DON'T want. "Old School" double-sided mattresses that you can flip are made by local manufacturers that can't produce enough volume to supply box stores like Costco.

A national chain wants to sell you a single-sided mattress that only lasts 5-7 years. You're going to have to call up local chain stores that sell high quality locally made furniture.
>>
>>1561418
Hello sir, I'm Ranesh Singh from Mr. Mattress. I'm very interested in delivering you one of our high quality products, unfortunately our delivery radius is only 50 miles using our own delivery network. However, it is interesting to us if your local doesn't have coverage with any local manufacturer. We would like to consider expanding our network towards your region, if you could please let us know what this unserviced region is?
>>
>>1561459
>A mattress like you described is ABSOLUTELY something you should source locally.
No, it is not something I SHOULD have to source locally.

>The national brands ship across the lower 48 because they make a universal product that you DON'T want.
There's clearly a demand for them, or else there wouldn't be others complaining on the internet about having difficulty finding any.

>You're going to have to call up local chain stores that sell high quality locally made furniture.
Why do I not have faith that this would work? (It's probably because every mattress store I've been to only had dumbasses working there who didn't even know what's on their showroom floor, and the one cheap furniture store I've been to had either really expensive mattresses and really cheap foam crap with nothing in between.) I don't have any confidence that an expensive store will be the difference maker.
