As the title says. Was out with my folks today and my dad's phone was blown up with 20 calls in a row from 'card service' Indians. Already turned on silence unknown calls and blocked the numbers, but I'd genuinely hate if they fell for one of these things.

>>1561342Don't you realize? It's by design. They don't want you to easily stop these scam calls. Especially for tech-illiterate older people, like your parents. These scammers are most likely state-supported/approved. They give kickbacks and kick-ups to politicians, authorities and regulators. And those people stop apple, google, etc. from making an effective solution. It's disgusting. I hope they all go to hell.
