How do you find a place to rent in the USA? What steps are needed for that?

What financial info do I need to provide? Do I need credit score or work history?
What items should I buy before moving? Is there any thing else I need to know?
Are there any good guides?
I am in west Virginia area.

it depends. you can get fully furnished rentals or places with literally nothing inside. generally, places will have major appliances like refrigerators and ovens. you'll definitely need at least sheets and towels. you'll probably need cooking equipment and dinnerware.

you don't NEED a credit score, but a ton of landlords won't rent to you if you don't have one. Get a credit card and charge maybe 5 bucks to it a month and always pay it off in full. After like a month or two you'll have a credit score somewhere in the 600s which is considered average because most americans are retarded with their credit. In a year or two it'll be in the 700s which is considered above average

might want to consider rent-to-own on a mobile home too. where i live, the cost for monthly payments + lot fee was a wash versus most rental deals unless you took something very sketchy on craigslist, and you get more room and the structure at least is actually yours.
