I'm looking for a free email provider that has a lightweight web interface (used to just be the norm) and a normal login page.
basically outlook has turned to absolute crap. the actual interface is bloated as fuck and doesn't even show me all my emails it has "focused" and "other", other being what i actually want to see. to log in you need to click through 3 different pages that all take too long to load, and finally they have put the option, to log in with a password, behind a link called "other ways to log in" ... what is this absolute joke, i want two text boxes and a button, wtf was wrong with that?
proton mail is a bit heavy but do-able. any other alternatives with a normal login that are free?

I haven't used them in a decade, and glancing at their front page they've clearly bloated a bit. But maybe try mail.com
