For the past 3 days every 2 minutes on Chrome I get this stupid captcha check. I there a way to get rid of this? Is there something I did to avoid in the future? This doesn't happen on Edge, should I just switch? I don't use VPN or browser extensions

If you want worse captcha pain, try Yandex as a search engine. It will fuck you right up with their insanely small captchas on EVERY query that you can barely see against the ugly and overly bright and distracting background. The text ones that curve around a circle that you can barely read because the font is way too small.

TL;DR your life could be much worse. If you want pain, use Yandex. Only saving grace is its the only search engine that doesn't completely censor your searches.

Sometimes I trigger it when I use duckduckgo's !g bang to jump straight to a google search page without going through google's front page
Maybe go to google.com first?

How do you access the internet?

As an American, I changed my internet access from cable internet to 5G home access (I access the same wireless internet as modern phones) and I have noticed an increase in the same phenomena as you.

I figured that my new IP makes me makes more suspicious to some sites. It is more likely to happen if I browse in privacy/incognito mode.

it's possible you're behind a cgnat (you share a public IP with a bunch of other people)
either check your router's wan ip address and compare it to a value you get from https://whatismyipaddress.com/ (or any other similar site) or run a traceroute command in a command prompt from your computer to the ip you get from the above site

if your router's ip and the ip you get on an external site do not match, or there's more than one hop going over a private range ip address when you run the command, you're behind cgnat

if you're on mobile (4G/5G, doesn't matter if it's a "home plan" with a dedicated router or whatever) like this guy >>1562080 you're most definitely behind one
