>>1562251>I wanna study Christianity so I can prove how bullshit it isOk>What are some theology Youtube channels Kys. Then you'll learn the real truths
>>1562252Obviously I'm not going to base my entire views and knowledge of the christian faith purely on Youtube videos but I feel like it would be a good introduction
>>1562254the bible, specifically the new testament, would be a good introduction. watching youtube videos to learn about something like christianity is like cutting your dick off to learn how to fuck.
>>1562251how about reading the bible? or is that too much for your ssri riddled zoomer mind?
>>1562256>>1562257holy fuckI was just wanting some sources explaining mainstream interpretation and the history of the religion you people are fucking sperges, goddamn
>>1562262>chatgpt>summarize the bible for me on god there you go
>>1562267You fags are not helpfulI'm gonna ask /his/ later
>>1562267Every other time I asked a question the "safeguards" made it not answer.
>>1562251youtube channels really aren't a good source of information on theology you need to actually read the primary material and also have to understand greek philosophy and medieval scholasticism at the very least. it's not something you can just youtube yourself into knowing about like videogame lore or lumpenpolitics. maybe start with aquinas. there are some very sophisticated arguments against the quinque viae but i reaaally doubt somebody like you could evince an understanding of that because they involve stuff like quantifier shifts and modal logic. try reading the book articulating medieval logic by terence parsons i guess. this idea you have of debunking religion as some trivial activity that you can do online with youtube is so outlandish.
>>1562291I'll look into those sourcesThank you
>>1562291>>1562326I have downloaded a couple bible study apps to work along my bible readingsWould this be a decent tool to use?
I suppose I probably should have worded the OP differently But what are the best resources in general for studying the bible, christianity and the history of the christian faithBesides the bible, what are some must-have books I should get?Are there any specific theologians I should look up?
