I received a message of xhitter from someone who might be a scammer, but I'm not certain. It's a man in Gambia who says he's dying of cancer and it begging for help, money, and prayers. I'd "liked" on of his posts, following which, he followed me, so I followed him back. He sent me a message that was in short, begging, after which I had a look over the posts on his account and saw this. For a multitude of reasons, this "medical document" looks fake. The spelling is wrong, but I don't know if that would be normal in Gambia or not. The noise levels look odd, but I know nothing about forensics. The date and reciept number looks as though it was shopped in and I don't know what's going on witht that, whether it's just some glossy overlay or what. It does not look like something professional, which in contrast to Gambian medical reports I've seen online, doesn't seem normal.

Taking a step back, I know that playing on the sympathy and generosity of Christian foreingners is a pretty obvious scam, I know people can easily lie about this. I also know that scamming is apparently a pretty big problem in Gambia. I've encountered something similar to this twice. One time, I was pretty sure it was a scam. Being as I'm not evil, I wouldn't want to totally ignore someone that's truly in need.

I'm here to ask what you guys think about this image of the "medical report" since people here would certainly be more familiar with how a shopped and faked image of one might look, and if this is fake then I can know that by extension this guy is a scammer taking advantage of sympathy.

Yeah I figured it was PRETTY obvious, obvious enough that I shouldn't have paid it mind, it looks so fake, I just wanted someone to obsolve any doubt I had.
