I read a YA series in the early 2000's that I haven't been able to remember the name of, I was hoping someone here might know it. It was set on a world of bipedal cat people and the main character lived in a tribal village, before being told she had to become a warrior and head to the city because she had strong psychic powers (which only females have in this setting). A prominent scene featured her having her ovaries telekinetically crushed, being spayed, because lust makes the females weaker warriors. The big climatic battle was set in space, her standing atop a wooden glider plane with her assistants on the wings levitating it with their minds, as she has a psychic dual against her rival who was riding on a similar glider.Based on the cover art, I have a feeling it was published in the 80's. Although it has some similarities, it's not the Star Ka'At or Warriors series.
Was it the Darkwar Trilogy by Glen Cook?
>>1562725That's exactly it! Thank you so much!
>>1562751You're welcome. Honestly it was a lucky guess. I've never even read the books. I did a google search using several of your keywords.
