>In 2026, purchasing music focuses on ownership, high-fidelity, and supporting artists directly through platforms like Bandcamp, Bandcamp, Qobuz, and physical media (CDs/vinyl).

i had been using amazon and music label's webstores to purchase cds. i lot of the stuff i want doesn't seem to be easily available from those sources. i started buying from bandcamp; that was surprisingly easy although it is just digital versions.
