There is one game I can't fully download on Steam, I am using win 8.1 and I have tried several things clearing the download cache, renaming the downloading folder, transferring from another computer through the network (this worked for all the other games, but it just won't do it for Halo). If I try to reinstall it will download and say it's complete only for a few micro seconds and then suddenly start to download and adittianle 6-9 gb where it gets stuck on 99% and stop at some point repeating it every so often. If I try to start the game it will give some message about invalid platform even though Halo MCC should work on Win 7/8
>>1563784Maybe try the ripped version. https://steamrip.com/halo-the-master-chief-collection-free-download-1l/

>>1563808Because I can't get win 7 working on my computer, and 8 is really just 7 with a Shitty GUI that can very easily be changed, compability is practically the same as 7 (sometimes you only need to a lil extra tinkering)
>>1563784>it will give some message about invalid platformI think there's a "run in compatability mode" option if you right-click the file, then you can select a different OS mode.
