I was watching a video explaining the history of high trust societies in western europe, the differences with low trust societies as well as industrialization issues in low trust societies, but I left it incomplete to go to sleep just to find out a couple of days later that the video was delisted for "copyright", can someone tell me the channel or give a me way to recover the video?

its true that High trust society is describing a bunch of underlying factors.

Though, I listened to part of the video and that video seems like it fails to actually back up his belief about high trust society. He theorizes a bunch of reasons western europe is 'high trust' but he doesnt properly explain why other regions aren't. It's more wild theorizing than guessing.
I'd take his claims with heavy skepticism, given he doesn't show his sources long enough for me to actually look at them.

there's some nuggets of truth (for instance about corruption hampering reform in asia), but for the most part It seems just masturbatory rather than actually informative about the issues. There's a lot of claims it seems like he doesn't back up.

TL;DR: its crap.

books you would recommend, especially on the topic of corruption in asia?

I've definitely read books or essays about sociological issues in asia. Stuff like the issues with how things in schools are taught in rote manner.

The thing is i can't think of any titles at the moment. It's been a long time since I really read a lot about that.
