This hoodie metallic piece smells, I don't know if thos was originally this color, if it was rusted or something. Anyway, tell me how to get rid of the metallic smell.
>>1565693Doesn't look like rust to me, looks more like a cupric base metal, might have been coated in a shiny silver metal. The smell is not metal but by-products of sweat and oils on the metal. Try washing it using good quality laundry powder. You can try soaking and scrubbing it in a 1:1 mix of water and white vinegar, that works for a lot of metallic things like buttons and zippers.
>>1565695>might have been coated in a shiny silver metal.I'd say that's likely, cheap coatings totally wear off like thatOnce clean it's a good idea to coat it again. You obviously won't/can't plate it, buy you can hit a dollar store and buy a bottle of clear nail polish

>>1565715They sell small bottles of Testors enamel paint at most hobby stores. Enamel paint sticks well to metal and makes the metal rust proof.
