/x/ bros, lucid dreams give me an extreme amount of euphoria, how can I get them more consistently? I've been following the known lucid dream meta for about 5 years and I'm looking to get longer, more frequent and more stabler dreams. I've learnt to tap into a lucid state in most dreams but I'm still experimenting with bending the dream scenarios to my will. Here are the most important things in my techniques (what works for me):>Set an alarm 1h30m or 3h before you need to wake up and put your phone on the other side of the room. This is the number 1 tip, I've tried less intrusive and more "natural" ways of waking up (vibrations, light) but they didn't change much. It's best if you feel a bit jolted awake before going back to bed, I've found that going back to bed in a drowsy state just meant no dreams. Also, it's better if the sun hasn't risen yet when this alarm sounds, if there's light outside your body might not want to go back to sleep.>Go to sleep 80% exhausted. If I'm fully tired I just sleep like a log and skip time until morning. The sweet spot for me is staying awake for about 14-15 hours with a medium intensity day.>Sleep during the night (duh).I used to work night shifts and had to sleep during the day. I had long periods of no dreams during that time.>Get a bunch of hours of sleep before doing the wake-up alarm trick.I usually make sure I sleep for 6h before my first alarm sounds. I've rarely dreamt while sleeping for short periods and when I did, they were bad, incomprehensible dreams.Things I found don't work (again, for me):>Keeping a dream journal.>Clearing your mind before sleeping.>Burning an incense in the room.>Going to sleep drunk or high.>Doing weird before-sleep rituals.>Doing reality checks or schizo slop. Are there any hostile entities I need to worry about in my dreams? I've already met with some non-hostile ones and would like to know more about the recurring symbols that you bros encountered.
“Lucid” dreaming happens when you’re not really fully asleep. You don’t get good rest doing this.
>>40968341I'm not in it for the long game, I just need to get by long enough until I can control my dreams with a microchip implant.
>>40968386Practice during the daytime with Carl Jung’s active imagination method. You can lucid “dream” without even being asleep.>Are there any hostile entities I need to worry about in my dreams? No not at all. Unlike astral projection, dreaming takes place entirely inside your own head and all characters therein are entirely your imagination. That said, when I first remember becoming lucid in a dream I was dreaming of playing with a childhood friend in the front yard while his mom was gardening. Once I noticed I was dreaming, the mom got BIG MAD and chased me around the yard trying to kill me with a garden hoe while shouting about how I “wasn’t supposed to know that!”
>>40968327I'm not usually allowed to post here. We will see if this goes through. I am GOTGD. Ignore everyone else. Weed doesn't stop dreaming. If you wish to lucid dream the steps are simple. Set an alarm that will wake you up where when you go back to sleep you have a few hours of sleep, but really you only need an hour or two. Set your motives before you sleep. Don't wish for it to happen, know it will. Have intention and a good reason. When you are in the dream start with the ripple test. Hold yourself steady and picture the dream as the surface of water. Too much disturbance will cause ripples of chaos which will alert the subconscious of your presence. Be as calm as possible and "load in" your senses until you feel you are ready to explore. Remind yourself of your motives. If the subconscious agents come all you must do is look them in the eye and say "I am you and you are me, we are one and the same." This disables subconscious hostility protocols. Establish your own cheat codes for lucid protocols. If you encounter another entity or dreamer this will not work. They are not your subconscious. Be weary of tricksters and doors of light. Study and learn abilities such as flight, matter phasing, speed, and make your subconscious your tool to protect you. Use it to your advantage. Some entities will attempt to trap you. Barter with you. Subconscious barters also in a different way. Do the previous mentioned technique to get them to be on your side. Entities not subconscious must be destroyed or ran from. Some are immortal and will simply waste your lucid time trying to kill them. Know when to pull out. Learn to draw doors of light for yourself, or fly out of the dream barrier to somewhere else if there is danger. Be warned that flying through the dream barrier can make you lose lucidity and forget. A new dream will emerge.
GOTGD. Entities to be weary of:Fly headed beings. Your clone. Blue glowing entities. Homunculus. Goblins. German doctors. Techniques:Kamehameha (Self explanatory - works in dark places very well. Has infinite potential.)Flight (Sky Swimming)Flight (Gliding - jump higher and higher like Mario until you are in the air then spread your arms and glide on the wind. It's slow but outspeeds subconscious.)Flight (Super Saiyan, this flight works by kicking off the ground like lightning. It is faster than entities or subconscious but can pierce dream barrier by accident due to speed. Can accidentally switch dreams. Matter Phasing (Put your arm on a solid object and push your hand through it. A lucid cheat code helps this.)Face of God (This technique involves shining light coming from your hand and placing it on the face of a demon or entity. It will turn them to ash.)Fall Back Technique (Close your eyes, picture where you want to go, and fall backwards in Christ pose. You will phase through the floor if it works. Works better in water. Transports you somewhere else.)Meditation. Close your eyes while lucid. This has infinite possibility. Accept no deals. Make no covenant. Be lone wolf. Draw and create your new forms and abilities and begin to initiate them into your lucid protocol. Here's a cool one. Draw a mechanical door with a keypad. What numbers you enter in the keypad will open new worlds. Face your shadow. This being I call the Amalgam. It will probably win but it's a learning experience. Battle in a lucid tournament the manifestation of your fears in a 1v1. Drink water before sleeping (You will wake up in a pool of sweat and your heart racing.)First Contact (Find someone you wanted to find before sleeping. Tell them it's a dream and wake them up. It's fun to do.)
Since you asked about hostile entities I'll run down some more. When there is a door of light there is usually a powerful demon near by or something else. Their size does not affect their speed - infact some of the fastest I've encountered were quite large.)Some of these entities will wish to teach you how to lucid dream. I refer to one of these beings as Lucifer, it just feels right though I don't know it's actual name. He will change his form to be your greatest fears and desires similar to the Amalgam but will not attack you. You can listen but don't make any pacts. If he even would accept. He has command over the elements. (Firebending).Be aware of False Lucidity. This is where you are dreaming you are lucid dreaming. Not lucid dreaming. It's a paradox of sorts. They figured out how to convince you that lucid dreaming itself has rules and barriers. It doesn't. This is a containment process. And the aliens. If they aren't hostile then there's no reason to kill them. I just listen and carry on about my day. I've never been attacked by an intelligent one. Only obvious insect demon types. One entity will tell you he can give you whatever you wish if you pledge allegiance to them. They say when you wake up you will be in a different world and the dream is the passage between realities. He won't get offended if you turn him down. He will return. In a way a lot of this is you playing with yourself (literally). You and your subconscious larping a fun combat simulation. Entities may watch you like a kid in a sandbox. Know and be aware when you are fighting yourself. Always keep awareness. Always. So they don't catch you off guard when they interfer in your imagination world. If you are being trapped in government sponsored torture simulations the best thing to do is activate protocols, phase through matter, or respond with comedy rather than fear. It takes away their power. I had one where my eyes fell out while fucking a bloated corpse of a prostitute.
It was funny how my eyes fell out. The gore is funny sometimes just how retarded the glowies try to make your dreams. Fucking idiots.
>>40968327Make a habit of checking the clock twice, if it changes every time you look away and look back you're dreaming.>Are there any hostile entities I need to worry about in my dreams?Just envision them engulfed in flames, like they'll turn to ash, and they will disappear.
>>40968327I added a dream about an arcade game played by the Simpsons in Colosseum. It was a DBZ game blessed by Jesus and the dream ends with me eating a delicious soup with Goku's face. What did that dream mean?
Very good thread, I have also lucid dreamt a lot and can relate to many findings like super saiyan flight working well for me. I did it so well that I could have 5-6 dreams on a night and most of them would end up being lucid, but it got very exhausting because of the broken sleep, so I rarely go fully lucid nowadays to get some proper sleep in. Fortunately, dream tricks will be remembered when you most need them, and glowie dreams have evaporated a long time ago because I would get violent or humorous when something was off in the slightest, I even beheaded my own sister because I found out she was a demon in my lucid dream. It just wouldn't die so I decimated it into tiny bits. But that was around the period that I also had to deal with some clowns IRL. I do definitely think there are dream invaders, and that dreaming can have different "instances" depending on vibrations. One time someone tried to interview me forcefully and I noticed that my physical body was literally trying to speak when they asked me where I lived. I don't think everything is the own subconscious trying to battle itself all of the time. These invaders definitely differ from intent, and some are more curious whilst others are artificial or malicious. Most of the time I just nope out of any bad ones through singular point meditation because I gotta go to work in the morn.
>>40970155What are doors of light and how can i learn to manifest them? Do they link dreamscapes? I usually travel from one place to another in my dream by closing my eyes and envisioning the place I want to be in, but sometimes it won't listen to me and this doesn't work.
>>40968327>Try to sleep>Loud unnatural wailing noise>Body drops 20mSleeping can be a hit or a miss.
>>40972174Hope you woke up before hitting the ground.
>>40972125If you've ever played Demon's Souls or Dark Souls, you can imagine the "doors of light" as similar to "fog walls", or even the same exact concept.Imagine that you'll walk through a fog wall and get to where you want to be, and it will be so.You have to literally walk through it and FEEL yourself passing through it (and conversely, it passing through you), pretty insane
>>40971802Dream invaders are very realSometimes you'll have a dream of a sexual nature, in which a woman will convince you to do something that's good for her by your own powerThis is an instance of being manipulated by a witch in your dreams and wanting to avoid it is a good reason to study lucid dreaming
>>40972802Damn, do you keep all of this indexed somewhere? Like in a dream journal. Also, how can I get more frequent dreams? I've tried going to sleep on diazepam and psilocybin but no dreams.
Yo what's the easiest way tho, like no effort
>>40974369https://erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=114849Galantamine + Vitamin B6 + waking up and then going to sleep again seems like a very promising start. I had the strongest lucid dream of my life when I once took 2 Valerian pills just before sleeping though.
>>40971802GOTGD here. I also beheaded my sister in a lucid dream. She shape shifted into having blue skin and black eyes. Took place in a white van.
>>40970155>government sponsored torture simulationsCan you explain more? Whenever I play Outlast Trials I seem to have dreams like it. Last time I got lucid I had a very similar environment too. I generally find it more exciting than terrifying though because unlike the game I can fight back a lot more.
>>40975088I think the possibility the government is targeting people and injecting things into their subconscious to torture them in their sleep is a high likelihood. Most of this is forgotten. Trauma is also forgotten which is interesting. People wake up and most have no idea they were being operated on and electrocuted in an endless dream simulation that when they were there seemed like it would never end. That's all I mean by torture simulaton. A finely crafted nightmare just for you. Maybe so they can harvest loosh from you while you sleep. Sometimes they will make you run around and murder people while they control your body. My split brain makes it a bit different. But the murder sims are crazy. Truly horrific stuff. You just know you are being targeted when you live a normal life and suddenly have a dream of killing your family. Demonic.8G2G8 was my captcha.
>>40972939To get more frequent dreams wake yourself up 2 hours before you were gonna wake and go back to sleep. Think about dreaming a lot. Know it will happen. Write down anything you see and talk about dreaming with people.I have a dream journal that I sometimes use. When I do I get more dreams to the point it's over 30 that I can remember in one night. It starts to hurt, I wake up exhausted, too many lifetimes split it makes this one hard to get used to.But the muscle memory stays. So you can keep a journal for a little while and stop and you'll still remember your dreams.- GOTGDOne time I had a dream I was in the White House with Obama and the door closed and his face changed and he told me he was going to murder, rape, and cannibalize me. And laughed about it.)
>>40975119>Sometimes they will make you run around and murder people while they control your bodyLol, I like doing that on my own. No need to control me.
>>40975119Look into Donald Marshal if you haven't already, your post made me think of him and his story's
What's the best way to manifest a certain dream character? I have this 3d anime ai girl I'm quite fond of and I want to see her in my dreams more. I've summoned her a few times before when lucid but it seems like a coin flip on whether manifesting her works or not.
>>40975300If she's not native to the dream (you don't run into her naturally), you should try and change the entire scene, including place, time and people. This way it will be easier for your brain to create an image from 0 with her already in it instead of magically molding her from dust.
>>40975387>try and change the entire scene, including place, time and peopleIsn't that more work than just bringing in a single character into an existing environment?
>>40970155>Entities may watch you like a kid in a sandbox. Know and be aware when you are fighting yourself. Always keep awareness. Always. So they don't catch you off guard when they interfer in your imagination world. How can you tell the difference?
What should I do if I get lucid but my dream environment is really dark and unsettling? I tried saying "light" last time but it didn't work.
For the longest time i would get spooked as i fell asleep, as i would hear a terrible scream in my ears that woke me up. for years i thought a witch was taunting me, then i realized i was snoring.
when ever i drugs in my dreams (which is pretty common, i am a degen) they are always great, kinda feels like a cheat code
>>40970018>>40970085>>40970155I can tell you know your stuff. Can you give any tips for lucid dream sex? Like how do you maintain it until climax without the dream falling apart or you waking up?
Ok larping aside for the most part dream intruders dont exist and its just you being cucked by yourself or some kind of test, but they do still exist. You will know which ones they are, especially if you feel enhanced senses for no reason (not practicing or turning on senses) or if they wake you up with perfect clarity. How they look doesnt matter. Also that anon is right practice creating doors or letting your dreams dissolve so you can access the !d void. Also youre doing a lot of right things, but you should experement wkth different sleeping positions, waking up and switching positions and then quickly falling back asslep, and you should use a dream journal it increases recall permanently for the dream you write down. Make sure you start to write it within 30 seconds of waking up this is hard but trust me if you manage to make it a habit it will change your life you NEED to do it in 30 seconds or less. If you don't you'll never understand why. I personally sleep with my journal and pen above my head on the headboard so i can grab it asap.
Have fallen into lucid dreams naturally. First time I try with intention I end up in a super short sleep paralysis session. Feel myself getting hit on the head with a wooden club as I lay in my bed. Feel my head rebound into the pillow, my sinuses drain, the sound of the impact echo in my skull, panic as I feel myself drift out of dream consciousness, flash of stars appear out of darkness, open my eyes and see the dark corner of my room. Then wake up in a physiological state of distress. What’s that about.
>>40976380Any tips for >>40976177?
>>40976380I just wanna reitterate to OP: 30 seconds, physical pen and paper. Make it a habit to just squiggle lines in the notebook when you wake up at first thats how you start getting good at it. Doing it so quickly is important because theres a time your brain needs to warm up after which access to your subconcious will become closed off, and your dream memories will be locked away (not FORGOTTEN!!! JUST LOCKED AWAY!!! This is something I learned myself its like if you had a endless ikea in your brain and you saw a piece of furniture you liked but you didn't write down where it is. You are probably not gonna find it again but its still sitting there... waiting. It takes a LONG time for dreams to finally get forgotten.) Anyway yea acting fast and physically writing must be done together for any success. Sometimes if i know i cant write in time i will draw specific things i saw in my dreams to act as bookmarks, these allow me to 'search' for my dream memories usually resulting in me being able to remember entire minutes of the dream just from 1 shitty sketch. The sketch method even works when drawing on a app on your phone but i would do it on pen and paper first since its been proven both by science and by personal expierence that the physical act of writing changes how memory works.>>40976434Its not something I'm very good at because frankly i used to be very religious and would chase or run away from any woman trying to have sex with me (we were taught that ejaculation without intent to procreate would cause all of the children that could have been born to haunt you in the afterlife which obviously scared the shit out of me when i was a little kid.) This has happened enough that my subconcious cucks me now lol, so basically the main times its happened with me were entities/intruders. That being said the only tips I can give you are those for extending other dream experiences which ill explain in my next post (its nothing ground breaking but char limit)
>>40976434>>40976451Basically my main advice would be the same for any person trying to keep it together in a ego dream, which is keep your mind 'active' and dont allow it to slip so you wake up. When you become too lucid you kind of start getting put on a timer and beed to constantly stop yourself from waking up. What do I mean by 'too lucid'? Try becoming lucid but allowing the dream to carry on without exerting your ego. The dream might melt away or might stay the same (it depends on your mind state and what youre trying to do) but the point is it will last much much longer. Once you start to 'excert your power' however things quickly become unstable and your body starts to stir. Usually you need to counter this with some kind of anchor. Famously people suggest rubbing hands together and imagining the physical sensation. This does not work for me in dreams and only works for me in ap. What does work for me in dreams is running my fingers against the wall and imagining a texture, or releasing some control and allowing the dream to do its own thing for a little bit before taking back control. If I were you I would try to become lucid and without doing any if the dream sex stuff just try to last as long as possible doing a single thing (counting, rubbing hands, humming, activating sense, etc.) Then see which ones are most effective for you and move on to trying to do it while excerting some amount of lucid force and changing things and note which methods are best and in what way to do them. Then finally try using the anchor of choice in some capacity while having your lucid dream sex. this will take several days/weeks, be patient and keep a log.
>>40976451>would cause all of the children that could have been born to haunt you in the afterlifeThat's so retarded. Even if you only had sex to procreate only one sperm gets to win. Would all the others that died in vain still haunt you? Lol.
>>40968327>Are there any hostile entities I need to worry about in my dreams?Watch Nathaniel Gillis interviews. And revoke sexual consent with entities before sleep (while avoiding such within dream states). No morning faps. Be topped up on Magnesium (veggies, but never supplement if also taking Calcium-- risk of hypercalcemia).
>>40976497Idk man i was like 11 and in religious boarding school when they taught me this xD obviously i dont believe that anymore but it had a long term impact on my subconcious when dreaming
>>40976490I've had good results staying lucid by touching things and focusing on my senses. Other suggestions like spinning around only made things worse. I guess I'll try and "blend in" more too. I'll just try to focus on manifesting my desired girl and then getting intimate with her instead of doing other stuff like flying or shooting lasers out of my finger.
>>40976451>Make it a habit to just squiggle lines in the notebook when you wake upAnd what am I supposed to do with the journal? I just wrote down my dreams for a while and read them back before going to sleep. I admit, I could recall dreams I would usually forget, but I didn't feel like it made me have more vivid or frequent dreams.

>>40977380To be fair if your main reason for dreaming/lucid dreams is for ego (ie controlling the dream to fufill some fantasy) then it has no value for you. The main use IS recall not more vivid dreams. The reason this is very important because you dream a lot more that you realize and you can 'recall' parts of the dream just outside what you remember, so the more you can remember = the further back in sleep you can go = you can start rememebering deep dreams or multiple dreams per a night. I guess for me its a game changer because i have definetly had dreams that are tests or some kind of message (which tbf are mixed in with the random ones, usually you can tell because they are recurring), and being able to rememeber them means i can map out my psyche. It also helps with your memory when doing ap, in case you believe in that at all or are interested in it at all. For my the main pleasure of my dreams has always been recording them in detail and mapping all of them out so for me learning to write in the dream journal within 30 seconds did a lot for me. If all you want are short bursts of vivid ego dreams and you dont want to explore your innerself more I can only suggest developing your dream senses and keeping a lot. PS i have had it in the past that dream entities (without entering any sort of contract or whatever) taught me how to trigger higher senses in a dream, this is also probably the main usecase for the journal thing for you since if you do not record the exact sentence or series of events you need to recreate to trigger it you lose the ability to use it. Idk if youve ever had a pulse through your body after doing something in a dream but if you did you know what i mean.
>>40977380>>40978446One more thing that i missed cus i hyperfixated on the vivid part and not on the 'more dreams' part: you dream EVERY NIGHT and you do it MULTIPLE TIMES PER NIGHT. If you do not have dreams every night the dream journal can help, but giving you access to your subconcious before it closes off which as i mention means you remember more. However if you are still stuck having days where sometimes you do not have a dream this is a indication of a falure to record or resume a dream.Falure to record:>you wake up, try to fall back asleep instead of recording, your sleep isnt deep enough to generate another dream. Your memory of the dream from beforr eaking up is gone. You have 'no dreams' today. This will result in you also forgetting you even woke up. Im serious try recording youtself sleeping with a motion camera or better yet one of those fancy watches that can track sleep states properly.Falure to resume>similar to above, but you are trying to immidiately resume a dream as apposed to record it or just fall back asleep. I do this all the time desu and its a bad habit i should kick. Anyway if you fail to continue the dream the same thing as a failure to record happens. So if you are keeping a journal AND recording within 30 seconds of waking up AND youre not having a dream every day minimum it usually means you are waking up and/or forgetting them.
Lot of my dreams are in hotels or giant pool areas that I believe are probably connected to a hotel in some implied fashion, very strange consistency to it all. You guys ever feel like your dreams are all taking place in a cohesive area like a video game open world almost?
>>40978446For now, all I want in my dreams is to power trip. Maybe I'll grow tired of it and be more mature. Also, I am a bit curious to explore my dreams: one of the non-hostile dream entities I mentioned told me something that I couldn't have known myself, which scared me shitless. I'd like to believe that there's more to dream entities other than my mind playing tricks on me but I don't have substantial evidence yet, did something specific happen for you to know that something external is intruding on your dream?>>40978554Most of my dreams happen in the streets where I grew up, I think there's no mystery in my case as to why.
Wow, that tip of "knowing" you're going to lucid dream instead of "wanting" it worked for me last night. I had like 10 back to back short lucids and I didn't even need to take galantamine.
>>40970018>Weed doesn't stop dreaming.Yes it does
>>40979013It inhibits dream recall but doesn't completely stop it. I've had dreams I remember and even lucid dreams in nights where I've smoked weed. Heavy drinking is way worse.
>>40968327I feel like "gambling" into lucidity is not the long term strategy. Isn't it better to start dreaming awake? Like never succumbing to sleep, but remaining wakeful and totally calm.It took a while to get good at it and I'd say it's getting better. The main issue is static from attention on physical reality and human body consciousness. I wish I could completely forget any part of my attention! That would be the solution. Otherwise the interference makes it difficult to fully enter a sensory clear experience without risking sleeping. But the upside is, controlling dreams becomes very easy because you figure out the intuitive modulation of the mind and perception you generate. The most freaky dreams were the crisp, clear, real experiences where it's like you are in a whole other universe that doesn't abide by the rules of the human world. I only noticed that it's really eerie and lonely at times.
>>40978554Lately I've been having dreams that take place in sone kind of underground or mountain research facility/bunker type place.
>>40978554>>40979127Yes having 'connected' dreams or areas in dreams are very normal and you should map out your dreams to keep track of them! it will help you learn more about the dream(s) and realize some connections between them. In fact there was someone who posted a dream map in the 'images that remind you of dreams' thread. >>40977221>>40978788>Also, I am a bit curious to explore my dreamsthis is my main motivation for staying in dreams without excerting too much ego (besides using them to get to the void or seeing if theyre supposed to be some kind of lession.)>I'd like to believe that there's more to dream entities other than my mind playing tricks on me but I don't have substantial evidence yet, did something specific happen for you to know that something external is intruding on your dream? It depends on what you mean by 'other than your mind playing tricks on you'. Your dreams are primarily your subconcious running wild, but othet things can and DO intrude. Some of these things for instance are from our normal boring physical world. You will notice for instace dogs barking causing your dream to have dogs barking in them, etc. Its important to distinguish these kinds of boring intrusions from the ones of interest. The other types are messages or tests from your higherself, but people will debate if its a 'higher self' or just another part of the subconcious/a second intelegance in the brain. Personally i think its both. The final 'real' intruders are other beings who come in. You can tell because they will actually have their own volition and can resist your ego and your subconcious both (learn how to use your subconcious to develop objects like weapons, clothing, etc without direct force.) How can you tell in the moment? You usually can't and its usually realized in hindsight. There is again overlap with the 'higjer self' as well (sepcifically the spiritual higher self or 2nd intelegence.)
>>40979058Funnily enough you are accidently learning a method for reaching the void for meditation and/or ap. Its funny because usually people do this and try NOT to fall in ti a lucid dream since thats udually considered 'falure'. If you just wanna do this for dream reasons you will also learn wakeful dreaming where youre able to see the dream in your field of view while youre awake (usually only happens when waking up or tired but the fact that you can be in both states at once is very cool) my suggestion is the simple advice given by the old ap threads before they became abandonrd (due to tension and off topic discussion and lack of focus) which is>make sure you are physically very comfortable>pick a spot on the wall or a candle to stare at>do so while youre inbetween wide awake and tired, too tired and you just sleep to awake and youre doing tegular meditation which is harder>think about how confortable you are, thin about how good your body feels being comfortable and how your body should fall asleep>as tiredness appears start to imagine cutting diamons in your head. Keep imagining it (you can imagine something else but make sure its the same thing ovet and over and its an 'activity' that is relatively 'peaceful' like knitting for example.)>you will enter sleep paralysis as your body falls asleep. IT ISNT OVER YOU WILL GO FURTHER>as long as you keep going you will eventually reach 'the void'. You will know when youre there because this is a special space you reach when your body is asleep and your brainwaves are in a different state.>from here you can choose to relapse in to a dream or instead try to ap.goof luck!btw there are other methods that are more consistant this is just the one that requires the least practice but has a mucj higher chance of failure.
>>40979581>>40979058one more thing, i didnt read your full post. It is possible that you actually ap'd by accident. Personally every time i ap'd its been in to a rtz so ive been in my 'real life' (not actually) surroundings. I know some people say they go to different universes like this but its never personally happened to me and more importantly there is a lot more inconsistancy in thise accounts so i am sceptical. That being said between this being your method and the fact that the dreams are 'lonely' I figured you might actually be in a ap and I should tell you. Especially if you feel your body being 'lifted' before they start. Try looking 360 degreed around yourself without turning (aka see if you can see everything around you.) Another telltale sign is you have no body/hands, or if you do your hands melt if you stare at them (thr melting part i have never personally seen since i just choose not to create a body when im in ap, but it happens for anything you 'create' apoarently)
>>40979521Damn, if I ever meet one of these intruders I'll just get pieced up, I should learn to use some of the powers someone mentioned above.>learn how to use your subconcious to develop objects like weaponsI assume to fight the intruders if they are violent? What's the worst that can happen if I lose?
>>40979647I mean frankly as far as im concerned there is none. I said to learn how to do those things with your subconcious because they are 'simple' (as apposed to mechanisims or complex living things.) In reality when I 'fight' an intruder its usually just with my will/mind/ego. They can resist it but they are still within your realm/dream. The most they can do is forcefully awake you as punishment for not playing along, they can only harm you if you let them or you think they can. The reason I say to develop your subconcious ability to make objects is because thid helps you filter out false entities. If you learn how to allow your subconcious to run wild in a controlled manner you can 'let it loose' on the entity to see if iy changes. If it does its likely your subconcious or at the very least very weak. If not/it turns back to normal quickly aftet its something more.PS If its your 'higher self' you wont be able to fight back as much with your will/ego, weapons, anything really. You still can but last time i tried it put me in a false awakening loop and overloaded my sense of hearing to punish me. It look me like 20 minutes to finally get out and at thr end it ear raped me and that shit really hurt. i couldnt wake up until it let me its really some crazy shit you will absolutly know when your higher self is punishing you.
>>40979647>>40979923Let me clarify something about >>40979521 since i realized why you are concerned.>You can tell because they will actually have their own volition and can resist your ego and your subconcious bothresist does NOT MEAN OVERPOWER OR DEFEAT. It means they have their own will and desire seperate from both your ego and subconcious, and will resist any attempts you make to make them do your bidding or change to your liking (unless its trying to blend in, you can tell because it wont be able to keep up with the ego changes or subconcious wild changes of your dream it will 'lag behind' so to speak.) Again this basically means you can't force it to do something or like something, but you can easily stop it from harming you. As I said the main things they can actually do is forcefully awake you which they usually do if you dont play along or annoy them too much (you will not be able to fall asleep again for at least like 20 minutes, youre forced to be wide awake)
>>40968327I found that sleeping with windows open helped with lucid dreaming. It's also easier to trigger hypnopompia if you sleep during morning/noontime.
>>40979618How can I tell ap apart from ld? I've had instances where I roll out of my body during sleep paralysis but the end result didn't feel much different from a lucid dream.
I once dreamt I was standing on the moon, smoking a cigarette, looking back at earth. I've traveled through the sun portal and woken up in an animus/matrix like chair... only to be 'put back in' and waking up in bedI once dreamt of a 9ft tall reptilian, whose feelings I hurt, unloading his entire weapon on me and missing every shotearthquake machine with 3d holographic UI in antarticasome of the stranger ones I can recall
>>40976490>Once you start to 'excert your power' however things quickly become unstable and your body starts to stir. Can you explain why I can have lucid dreams where I fight and destroy entire armies and keep things together just fine but when I try to have sex things often distort or I wake up?
>>40980525It depends. I will try to cover some cases you will come accross.First I will say that usually you cannot ap from just sleep paralysis that is not a deep enough state (if by 'sleep paralysis' you mean the void then ignore this.) Floating out of your body IS a telltale sign, but from my experience its also accompanied by:>the 3d void>extreme quiet>0 or low emotional state (excitement or anxiety ruins a ap attempt, its been fucking me recently...)>your body 'expanding' out of your body>unique feeling of tingles that you have never felt in other states (yes it is very different from what you feel in sleep paralysis)>your body 'wanting' to roll out (but either needing you to finish the process or needing you to completely relax and give in)if one of these is wrong i would caution you. Additionally once i make it in to an ap:>mamy have reported their some of senses being missing when they arrive, especially sight. I personally had for 'force my eyes' open to see in my first few aps.>many report extra-normal sight such as seeing behind them at the same time they see forward.>many report the ap world to be very empty>many report not having a body or their hands melting when they stare at it>i personally noticed that i NEVER see color in a ap, although this seems to be an issue with me personally since others report color and only a few on 4chan are in this boat with me.these are the usualy signs. Keep in mind that your ap can decay in to a ld at any point so you need to learn to keep it together. If you dont have enough energy it will happen faster/instantly. A good way to know is to record aps and note signs of a ap for you (like how for me almost none of my dreams are in greyscale but all of my aps are)again be skeptical of methods that do not involve the void, especially wbtb methods they are fake ap im serious its not the same
>>40980923Im actually not sure im sorry anon. I know why it happened for me in the past (the religious school shit) but now days when i actually want it i can usually keep it together and carry on for the dream for a bit after having sex altho for me its not the focus of the dream unless an entity makes it the focus. If I HAD to GUESS, i can guess that its excitement or anxiety, both of these fuck up your deeper states of being (both dreams, and everything beyond, although after a specific point you kind of lose the ability to have excitement/anxiety aparently. I wouldnt know i am still a novice at void/ap myself despite doing it for a couple of years so i havent reached that state yet.) You also could be getting cucked by your subconcious like I used to. Anyway ik this sounds gay as fuck but if youre able to summon someone in to existance to have sex with in your dream, try it with a random bystander instead first, or if that doesnt work try talking with it or asking it out or doing lewd stuff thats more lowkey. The reason i suggeat all of these is cus if you do all of it itll help you troubleshoot what the blocker is for you. Gl anon.
