I always thought there were rational explanations for a lot of Mandela Effect stuff that people experience. A lot of the famous instances of it are, of course, famous for a reason - Mandela's death year, Berenstein Bears, Fruit of the Loom cornucopia, etc.I wasn't exposed to any Berenstein/Berenstain Bears stuff in my childhood, and I never really gave a fuck about Nelson Mandela, so I wasn't confused when he died. I didn't watch it, but was glad to see what seemed to be a nice departure from Disney's usual Star Wars bullshit. I was also glad to see the legendary filmmaker Werner Herzog had a role in it. I recall very clearly reading about Herzog dying of cancer shortly after that first season ended. Many people on the internet were remarking that his character in The Mandalorian was his last acting role. I remember the stickied thread on /tv/ about it, with a lot of people posting Klaus Kinski memes.Today, I read that he is alive. He is 82 years old. I can hardly believe it. He has been dead to me for the past 6 years, roughly. I don't know what to think now.
