Update, they texted me saying that even though they've enjoyed their time with me they are scared to take the risk on me and that they aren't comfortable having me in their life so soon after getting out of a bad situation with their ex who was similar to how I used to be. Here's hoping one day they'll be willing to take that risk on me but I know that wishful thinking will only hit me more.
