Once you are no longer afraid of death, your worries slowly fade away. The fear of death contributes to nearly all of our problems in life. A person who is no longer afraid to die is truly free.

I don't fear death, in fact I'm sure after death is when we get to experience the truly past parts of existence. But I am immensely afraid of pain. Its awful I hate it. What terrifies me most is ALMOST dying, and being stuck in some incredibly painful state and not having enough strength to end it. How do I get over this fear?
