Most of the time it's painkillers and medication for nausea because I always vomit when I get migraines. I try to not take too much medication and the best relief is to sleep.

I had covid like 4 times, first time was the roughest so I sympathise with you regarding the after effects of it. But I am very anxious too and as awful as I feel sometimes, my results comes clear too. Last month I went to the hospital twice, unable to breathe, feeling sand in my lungs, and very low bp, almost fainted at the vet due to stress but the vitals were "ok". So yea the mind is way more powerful than we believe.

Whenever I start to feel anxious, I do a box breathing between 2 to 5 minutes, I put a soothing music and talk to God in my head about what is currently troubling me. Perhaps what troubles you the most is your mind, as all the fears of what you've been through still running strong in your nervous system and you react negatively at any signs of distress. I'm saying that your symptoms are not real, because I feel them too, but anxiety does fuck it up. Do you have any help with the psychological part? What do you do to help your mind?

I feel your pain, it sounds like you and I have had similar experiences. Was breathing night and day for you? It does very little for me, my breathing pattern is already "normal", I practice 4-6, box and 4-7-8 breathing all day to no avail. I think I might need to speak to a psychotherapist, my life is just totally out of alignment, I can't quite work out what to do about it. I just wish I could feel normal again, I took it for granted. I distinctly remember feeling content and at peace in March, but since then I've just felt absolutely off diametrically. I did have this after COVID in 2020 as well, it eventually faded, real shame I have to go through this again. I try to remind myself that people have problems that are so much worse and that I need to be grateful for that which I do have.

Aye, therapy is great and helps you to unclog your thoughts and emotions. I was about to say that my life has been difficult and a Voice just said "it's spiritual" and despite having difficult years, faith has restored my strength and helped me build the resilience to keep going. In early March I almost died by gas poisoning, but only on the following day I realised how lucky and blessed I was, that I had the chance to wake up and call for help after fainting on the floor, idk how or why I woke up again but I did and I don't think that was random so I thanked Him for giving me another chance, to live another day.

Life is a constant of ups and downs and we have to learn how to juggle with what we are handed, just like the 2 of Pentacles and I learned that healing isn't a linear process so I stopped being so harsh on myself when I fall back, but I try not to stay down for to long and I enjoyed what this anon said here >>41024677 living with what the day brings, being in the present moment as anxiety is deemed to be an excessive worry of the future. Being grateful helps but not in a forced way and you have to be kind to yourself too.

I still have days where my body aches, I get pretty lethargic, nauseous and my skin sheds and itches and breathless. Today just my head and some nausea but it's manageable, I had breakfast, prayed and watched some sermons so I feel good enough to not let the pain or the neighbours bother me, but if it gets worse, I'll take a pill and rest.

I had a similar experience at work, but nothing anywhere as bad as yours. My boss called an ambulance and I texted my family to tell them I love them just im case, I really thought I was a goner. Between April and July, my heart just kept stopping for a few moments, then July onwards it switched to orthostatic intolerance and air hunger, now fortunately only air hunger is lingering, touch wood. In this case, I'm struggling because it's my own body just doing random things with no apparent cause or mechanism. Makes it impossible to remove my hypervigilance from myself.
