there is overwhelming archaeological/anthropoligical/genetic/etc evidence that "the gods" existed. whether its Zeus/Poseidon or their demigod descendants such as Achilles/Heracles, or Egyptian/Vedic/Sumerian gods, you name it.
>>
>>41026402
This was like anime but from 2000 years ago
>>
>>41026402
these were just entities, demons and angels if you will, who presented themselves as gods to humans
>>
>>41026402
God is real
Daimonions (that is, evil, good creatures like the Greeks) aka okami for the Japanese - are real
parallel spaces are real
everything is real

there is a veil on our reality, but magic is real, it is forbidden to use it otherwise it would be unfair and violate the world order + this is connected with the war of the gods (titanomachy or more precisely the battle of angels and demons, only the Greek gods are most likely fallen, but the Greeks whitewashed them) but nevertheless

in fact, there are not so many types of civilizers, most often they told about reptile-like intelligent creatures
>>
>>41026402
So what happened to them? Why did all gods stop doing things before history could be reliable recorded?
>>
>>41026711
Gods exist today. Yahweh contacted me, for example. However, nowadays they prefer to act by influencing people to do things they want us to do, and inspiring them ideas they want us to innovate (agency is an illusion, but there seems to be a bit of free will), so it looks like it’s always the product of humans so we don’t blame the Gods and rebel. It seems whoever is running this world isn’t one of them, and even warned me against Gods.

Combo of inner earth beings, angels, demons, Atlantis survivors, extradimensional and extraterrestrial beings
>>
They do indeed, and more people are waking up to the fact. I was a full atheist until it was proven to me by a miracle in answer to a prayer I made to Pallas Athena.
>>
>>41026711
Because one god won and ended up becoming one with God, leading to the dominance of monotheism and relegating all former gods servants or rebels.
You can follow the story from first myths to last if you know where to start.

>Yahweh contacted me, for example.
Well, aren't you special. He hasn't said shit to me though so why should I believe it isn't all in your head?
>>
>>41026854
Yeah I play SMT too but I don't see any reason to believe it's reality.
>>
>>41026863
I've never even heard anything about that, is it sort of like Gayshit Impact?
>>
>>41026855
I asked God what was his name, following instructions I saw on /pol/ from an anon who said God always answered if you followed those steps. I got a flashback of a key that mysteriously fell off my keychain earlier that same day, and heard the word “Yahweh” which sounds like “llave” (key in Spanish). As the words were spoken, my brain physically shook like an Earthquake, so I couldn’t just discard it as an hallucination.
>>
>>41026429
More like 3000 if you believe UN history but yeah.
>>
>>41026402
Can you share this "overwhelming" evidence?
>>
>>41026711
Historically speaking, there was a narrative that they lost their powers when Jesus did his whole death and resurrection thing. It's also supposedly why theurgy and magik lost a lot of potency. "The great god pan is dead" or whatever
>>
>>41026711
God still and always will exist, the ancient heroes elevated to gods are long dead, if you are seeking for them is hopeless

They did, and do exist, but myths are unreliable. Poseidon seems to have been a human invention so there was a god of the sea.
>>41026785
>Gods exist today. Yahweh contacted me, for example.
Yahweh may exist, and if so is essentially "the beast", so watch out. Monotheism is a psyop and could hypothetically be a trick not only to turn people away from real gods, but to ruin people.

>Historically speaking, there was a narrative that they lost their powers when Jesus did his whole death and resurrection thing.
They still have powers. I've seen physical magic rarely, and perceptual influence every day since I was visited months ago. Jesus was a (failed) prophet of Hermes. Don't know what he's up to lately, if anything.
t. prophet of Aphrodite

idk about that, Poseidon was said to have founded Atlantis as its first King and then handed it to his son, King Atlas. Atlantis' Capital was said to be in Mauritania and the first recorded king of Mauritania was... King Atlas.

I'm giving a minority report of a minority report, and you don't know about that? Stop the presses.

IT NO SENSE! BECAUSE THEY ARE FALLEN ANGELS ...

REBELL SONS OF GOD!

That's funny you consider Aphrodite as your patron but haven't traced all the way through to what She did and who Jesus' Mother was.
>>
>>41027198
What god managed to ascend up to God and make a son with it?
Eternity is just a moment. Once something happens out there, it's always been that way from our perspective.

Anime, and a few other things, helped me remember Who I Am and that yes, Gods are real and it's actually quite comforting once you better understand them. I was in a dream thread a few days and someone who was talking to The Goddess Aqua commented on how Aqua herself was offended by her depiction in Konosuba. I can understand I suppose, but I would say to Aqua Herself that anime depictions like that, even if goofy and not to certain Gods tastes, do keep Her name Alive and help her power grow in this realm.

I haven't played it myself, actually looks fun, but I remember threads on Gnosticism from awhile back bringing it up quite a bit, or at least a little bit? Some kind of bit for sure, the exact amount is uncertain : P

>That's funny you consider Aphrodite as your patron but haven't traced all the way through to what She did and who Jesus' Mother was.
Downright hilarious. I don't delve into mythology because I don't know whether it (Specifically Greek) is 1% accurate or 99% and don't want to fill my head with erroneous ideas. I know what I need to right now. Aphrodite knows.

Yeah sure, he just hasn't done anything in 2000 years because he wants to send people to hell for not believing in him right?
