I read this book with the objective of improving my very first skill as a witch. Probability, the control of randomness.

At first I was disappointed by this writing, because the author tells his story in many chapters, not to mention the main subject.

After one hundred and thirty pages, the author finally begins to speak of concrete experience, of occult practice aimed at modifying probabilities.

He conducted experiments that he considered relevant.
He claims to have good results at casino games, that his practices have allowed him to treat seriously affected members of the group, that the practices have allowed him to learn to better manage his feelings.

BUT Joe Gallenberger tells much more about his journey ONLY by supporting his successes without a single analytical, scientific, critical mind.
Thus he talks about probability without knowing the calculations, he never talks about his failures, there is no control group to compare his data, he is convinced of his "powers", That gives him an observational bias.

Moreover he talks too little about the methods used by his person, he mentions studies, the energies he uses, that he sends to his group, that he receives from his group, the scientific methodology only comes from page four hundred.
