apocalypticism and cataclysms are a result of ignorance. there are certain classes of spirits that i've interacted with before, and they've been accessed many times throughout history by mystics and magicians, who have this grand narrative about the end coming soon and inspire visions of it. the problem is it never happens, and it happens so incredibly frequently throughout our entire history we have no choice but to assume these things are either liars or confused themselves. and those who believe these entities end up getting co-excited by them and doing really dumb things. these internet yahoos are either downstream of somebody untrained in the spiritual realm whos been misled or are under the direct influence of these things themselves. it is important to measure where these influences are coming from. if they inspire anxiety, fear, panic, or paranoia you are being misled and leeched off of by lesser spiritual creatures.
