What are your thoughts on Kratom and how it effects people spiritually?I rarely take it because I get anxiety coming off of it, but honestly the anxiety feels more like psychic attacks.Everyone I see who takes it seems like they are possessed in some way.Just took 3 capsules, gonna take it all night and go to bed
>>41039928It’s a decent healing herb when used sparingly for acute pain, similar to poppy pod tea but if you’re not careful it can become an addiction
>>41039928Also acting like you can tell who is taking this all the time is silly and acting like they’re all possessed is a weak mindset. It’s best to stay away from unless necessary but it’s not the substance that goes into man that matters
>>41039928I love kratom bros. I'll give some advice. If you take too much you will throw up. If you mix it with alcohol you will throw up. If you take it too many days in a row, you will get withdrawals such as diarrhea from the withdrawals. Fine to mix with weed. Kratom tastes awful so I use the pills, the pills may take hours to kick in, so don't be a retard taking more thinking you didn't get enough and then all of sudden you're puking. Got it friends?
>>41039948OP here. You're right. I only see guys buying the bottle at the gas station. Very different from people who buy the herb in bulk
>>41039959>the pills may take hours to kick inKratom is activated with food. So pills/powder/etc you have to eat with it for it to work.
>>41039928>Everyone I see who takes it seems like they are possessed in some way. There are some weird concentrated tablets labeled as kratom, but the people around here on them act like they're on amphetamines. The powder kind is pretty harmless. I took it daily for three years and just tapered off of it for about three weeks when I decided to quit.
>>41039959>Kratom tastes awfulHere's how to take powdered Kratom:>Take large sip of water> Tilt head UP> Spoon full of kratom in mouth while head is UP> Swallow (Head still UP)That's it. Just keep your head up and it doesn't effect you at all.
>>41040127Not this anon, but kind of what I did. Try to get the least amount of kratom on your tongue, you might gag.
I'm also interested in what people have to say about it
>>41039970Herb in bulk is different from the extract stuff. The extracts can become like strong opiates similar to vicodin
>>41040980Regular kratom feels very euphoric to me. I only take it once in a while. I love drugs bros! I'm not a degenerate drug addict, don't worry. If you're smart about drugs like me, have at it!
>>41039928>heronie lite>sold in headshops>literally only ever seen the biggest losers on the planet consuming itIts trash
>>41040137gelatin capsules are cheap and taste like nothing
>>41041011God bless kratom my friends. Be based like me by taking kratom every once in a while while keeping your main drug usage in check. I drink alcohol, weed, and caffeine often but save kratom as a once in a while drug. Not a degenerate, a teacher of drugs to you fuckers. Have fun!
I'm addicted to it (raw herbal powder form only) and have been since 2016 so I'll give my views on it.It's on par with a nicotine pouch addiction harm wise and like nicotine it has some benefits like slowing aging and boosting your immune systemIt's a monkey on my back and I wake up every day in a moderate withdrawal which prevents me from getting a full nights sleep and it has weird subtle psychological effects. Like a weird dissociation/mild hypomania and I think it can lower the sex driveIt hasn't ruined my life but I don't feel the positive effects from it. I'm actually mad they sell it in energy drinks at stores now like it's a Red BullIt has helped many quit harder drugs, if you don't have a tolerance you will feel great at first and unlike what people say it will make you nod offNot a harmless plant, not a demon. It has both good and bad qualities. For me it's just a monkey on my back but a small capuchin monkey not a gorillaQuitting is a bitch because the withdrawal while mild lasts for weeks and makes you feel restless leg syndrome and depressionI neither advocate or condemn the use of kratom and I oppose it's regulation but even with soft drugs there are no free lunches so make your own informed choicesIronically if your addicted to it it blocks the opiate receptors in your brain so you can't really get highFavorite anecdote was hearing a tale of a thief in a homeless shelter stealing someones kratom and snorting it only to double over in pain from snorting dry non water soluble plant matter
>>41041064it's also a very stable drug to be addicted to because a months suppy is only $25-100 and the withdrawal is bad enough to keep you taking it but not bad enough that an addict will steal or suck dick to get moreKind of a weird grey area. It's advocates and detractors are all full of shit. It needs to remain legal because it's a much better way for people to quit opiod addictions instead of suboxone or methadone (which is the sole reason some want it banned btw)Equal to weed and nicotine in danger
>>41041077also the only drug addiction that makes you look younger not older oddly enough because it's full of antioxidants and anti parasitical/viral compounds
>>41041064>>41041077>>41041082Friend, what were the harder drugs you took before kratom? Knowing that information will be useful to anons here. Anons, please don't take kratom every day, it will fuck you up if you do. If you are a responsible drug enthusiast like me, you will take it every once in a while and feel euphoria. Much love anons.
>>41041091Just alcohol. I ironically only tried/knew of kratom because of the attempted ban by the DEA in 2016 which made me go to a headshop and buy some. I take it at work too. Everyone thinks it's green tea
>>41041107Sorry you are addicted to it bro. Anons reading this, please only take it once in a while as I do. You will feel euphoria if you only do it once in a while.
>>41039928Just came off a 3 year binge. It has adrenogenic properties so it's a bit of a speed ball which is why is so horrible for people.
>>41041180Only if you take it too much. Many anons are so stuck in life they may become addicted to kratom. Sorry bros, I hope the few responsible drug takers here see kratom for what it is, a once a week drug with no downsides if it's only that.
>>41039928I take ~1.5g a few days a week, which I find to be a dose that never causes any problems for me personally. At 3g+, you start flirting with dependence, and people have a bitch of a time getting off the stuff if you chain too many days together at higher doses. 1.5g gives a subtle but perceptible motivation and energy kick, and makes socializing just a wee bit smoother overall. Really fkn great as a preworkout or get togethers. Just stay at 1.5g-2g, always with a few days off, and you'll be perfectly fine. Recreational phenibut use on the other hand... God fucking damn, did that mess my shit up real good. That one will humble you if you go over the 1x/wk rule very quickly. If you can contain yourself to only using it every one or two weeks, it can also be a great social tool, but anything more than that isnt worth it at all. If you fuck up and take it multiple days in a row, do yourself a favour and taper down slowly, never EVER cold turkey this stuff, as it can cause literal seizures.
>>41041351Not quite true. I take 5 grams about every week and feel great euphoria without being dependent. You are right about taking only about 2 grams for a social event, but at that point, drink some beers at the social event instead.
>>41041370Just remember, don't mix kratom with even one beer, you will throw up, I know from experience.
>>41039928Bump interested, how does it affect the heart chakra? I worked on kratom a decent bit
>>41041386>how does it affect the heart chakra? The times I've taken it have been fantastic and have helped my life. Some degenerates get addicted to it though, just a warning if you are a drug degenerate.
>>41041370Our bodies are all different and not all kratom is the same quality. I respond well to 1.5g of green mango da and like how it makes me feel. 5g of the high quality supply I have is just sedating
>>41042961Maeng** Caught dead to rights phoneposting kek
What's the use case for kratom? I only see it mentioned as a "recovery drug" for people dealing with heroin addiction to switch off. But is it a good painkiller? I have to take a mix of Tramadol and Paraceratamol for a couple momths until I can get my wisdom teeth removed but Tramadol can create addiction
>>41043019if your taking any medication like that for a few months you will become physically dependant and suffer withdrawals.Kratom is healthier than tramadol because trannydoll is also an SSRI so if you get addicted to it it's like being addicted to two drugs at the same timeIME kratom is a good painkiller for weak or mild pain but does fuck all for tooth pain but my tolerance is giga fucked so ymmvI don't know what your doctor is doing lol. It might be better to just take the pain rather than suffer withdrawals. That's a retarded wait time and what he's advocating will get you addicted. Tramadol is a relatively weak painkiller but more abuse prone too and Kratom is slightly weaker than itI'd say it's better to be addicted to kratom than tramadol but your doctor is either stupid or evil
I get the real shit.https://youtu.be/LyX0CJWzrJg
>>41043019>>41044661If I only ever take kratom and not any other opioid, and I only take it once every few months to deal with uncommonly painful physical aches, will it help? What is the dosage for that?
>>41044877yes it will. It's pain relieving properties are par with mild prescription painkillers. The issue is that if it makes you feel good you'll want to take it more. "I'm not going to get addicted" is a bad framework to approach it. It sneaks up on you. You might find yourself saying that one more can't hurt or find yourself taking it multiple days in a row. At the end of the day it's still an opiod and that class of drug is very reinforcing. I can't tell you what to do but despite being the weakest and safest opiate you still have to treat it with respect and recognize you are not immune to making bad choices.A starting dose is two grams and up to 5-8 but if you have no tolerance this could make you puke (your not in any danger if this happens)At my worst I was consuming 30 grams a day. It's a beautiful plant but you can't treat it like some cheap and legal thrill that you can get away with without any riskLike I said before it's on par with non tobacco nicotine products in terms of reinforcement/harm (for the sake of this analogy I'm assuming that nicotine pouches/gum/vaping are "safer" than cigarettes for rhetorical not scientific purposes)Just be careful and mindful if you do opt to try it
>>41044926I have a bottle of oxycodone that I saved from a surgery and already limit that to one every few months for uncommon pain, so kratom should be just fine
>>41039928I did kratom and opium and every other form of opiates/opioids for a decade straight and the spiritual detriments of kratom are exactly the same as any other opi.Simply put kratom is just a mild atypical opioid which happens to have a safety profile that is much safer in every sense vs poppies or every other opi. It can not kill you and it takes longer to get really strung out on it because it does not hit the receptors the same.None the less when your strung out on it, its ultimately the same as opium, heroin, pills, or fent.
>>41047077Fascinating post anon, I loved to hear your experience. >None the less when your strung out on it, its ultimately the same as opium, heroin, pills, or fent.I've been euphoric off kratom a few times, I seriously doubt the euphoria I felt was even similar to your first heroin intake. Never taking an opiod stronger than kratom until we get technology to reverse addictions to stronger drugs.
>>41047099It is not because heroin fully activates the receptors where as kratom only activates them partially. I did ibogaine detox in the end and it really did the trick. Got over 3 years clean now. Its still not easy though, been thinking about relapsing recently but I know I would be "cursed" if i did. Its a fact once you have a long term addiction to something like this that if you use like a few times you will start getting withdrawals again.
>>41047099one reason kratom is the safest is cause it has the lowest ceiling for the euphoric effects.
>>41047152Hopefully you have more useful drugs in your life. I really hope you're not one of those retards that gets hooked on any drug they take.
>>41047160Thanks for the post anon, I take kratom and that makes sense to me. I will be sticking with kratom every once in a while for my opiod high. I will stick with alcohol, weed, cigars, and caffeine for the most part.
>>41047099just to clarify, i decided to quit because of the spiritual detriments specifically. it really does spiritually shunt you to be strung out on anything. it is not just a physical ball and chain but it is a mental one too and a spiritual one underneath that.
>>41047162hahaha thank GOD not. I have never been truly strung out on anything other than opis and pray I never will be.>>41047171it is safe to take once in a while for sure and can even be healthy. i would say watch the fuck out for alcohol though, that is the absolute worst one of all. even when your not experiencing addiction to it the stuff just trashes the body and brain. have not drank in like 2 weeks at all.
>>41047162these days i just stick with weed, kava, ephedra, tobacco, coffee/tea. psychedelics when the time is right, but that i do not consider a "drug" or getting "high" at all.
>>41047211I took shrooms twice and loved both experiences. I did 1.5 grams my first and then 2.5 grams my second while outside around a campfire. Haven't done them in about half a decade, will as soon as my life is not so chaotic, very much look forward to it.
>>41041351>Recreational phenibut use on the other hand... God fucking damnI'm not suicidal or depressed for the most part, but canning a daily F-phenibut habit had me wanting to put a shotgun in my mouth. You have to shave off teeny tiny increments to trick your body into not getting full blown withdrawals which suck ass. I switched to baclofen from underground Bulgarian darkweb pharmas as per recommended and it made tapering off finally doable. Those withdrawals still aren't fun, but not as bad as VGCC inhibitors which are satan (pregabalin, phenibut, gabapentin, etc...)11/10, humbling experience, made me rethink my fucking life. Would do generic phen (NOT f-phen) again 1x/wk. The WDs are nasty enough to make me not FAFO again. Kinda an added bonus of drugs where the dependence danger outweighs the addiction potential
>>41047410What kind of esoteric drug knowledge is this? I've never heard of any of those drugs you're talking about. Wtf?
>>41040980No retard
>>41047420not that anon but phenibut is a russian prescription drug sold as a legal "nootropic" in some countries (and banned in many as well). It isn't a nootropic. I've done it, ironically enough combining it with kratom is the only time I've lost consciousness on a substance. All of these drugs are gabapentoids or GABA related in some way. So similar effects to alcohol or benzos but gayer and more derranged somehow. People abuse them as a substitute for those drugs because they aren't as tightly regulated. They can help with nerve pain and doctors write scripts for them like candy while refusing to give people with broken spines opiods Gabapentin is overprescribed by retarded doctors who think it isn't addictive ironically as a safer alternative to painkillersThe entire pharm industry is evil and doctors are stupid as fuck. There's probably a lot of people in jail from taking ambien as prescribed by a doctor not abusing it and ending up with a felony. I have no idea how that drug hasn't been pulled from the market when it's clearly dangerous and causes psychosis
>>41047442You taught me a lot about drugs, thank you anon. If you have any more to share, please do so.
>>41047420It's basically alcohol in a pill that gives the inhibition reduction of booze without physically fucking you up the way alcohol does. I say that not as a good thing, because the good thing about alcohol is that the hangovers suck so badly, it self-limits use for most people. Phenibut has one of the most insane drug tolerance curves of any drug that downregulates multiple pathways in your brain. It throttles GABA-B, inhibits VGCC, and spikes dopamine all at once, making it a GOATED substance for talking to bitches during the day or shit like presentations/job interviews, but doing it more than once every 5 days anywhere above the standard dose ranges quickly makes you dependent on it. Much like alcohol, it also eventually just "turns" on you for 99% of people and stops providing all the confidence magic overnight like a switch went off. When this happens, you're in a place called "phenibut hell", where you have all the fun of a benzo tier depence that can literally put you into seizures and send you to ER, with none of the euphoric energy benefits that got you started. Imagine the emotional component of an alcohol hangover, but lasting 7-10 days and getting a few hours of sleep on good nights. Thankfully, I realized it was time to jump ship at 2g/D, where unlucky fuckers out there are hitting 20+gs just to try and maintain baseline. As other anon said, it is nefariously misbranded as a nootropic when it has zero such benefits and is closer to taking benzos. I used it to get over a facemelting breakup that left me an anxious disaster, and it definitely helped me get back into soiciety, but the party quickly ended when the WDs kicked in. I still have a bunch leftover, might try a 500mg hit for shits and giggles, but I'm told by others who quit that the fun doesnt really return after canning it.TLDR - hit 500mg a few times a year when you have to fire on all cylinders and you wont have any problems. Avoid like the plague if you have an addictive persona
>>41047516You have a few acronyms that are not searchable by Google. What is 2g/D? What is WDs? Thanks for sharing your story.
>>41047516To leave some ACTUAL nootropics so you can avoid touching this shit >lions mane>piracetam >Alpha GPC>9-me-BC>bromantane >noopept>NACThere, you can now enjoy not only mental benefits, but actually safeguard your brain with these neuroprotective agents
>>410475712gpd - 2 grams per day**WD - withdrawals
>>41047583Thank you.
>>41047229Next on the list is shrooms. They're a bit hard to grow though
>>41047590I'm so paranoid over my batch getting contaminated I think I will stick to magic truffles. I don't trust myself to not fuck up the harvest.
>>41047614The good news is that contams are blaringly obvious. The fruiting bodies will either just not emerge, or you'll get your substrate nuked with blue/green mold. I'm getting hard filtered by agar plates and my still air box being not so still, so its back to PFtek for me. My place is just too swarmed with contaminating spores for me to pull off plate transfers
>>41041374Dainty lady man. I drink heavily on it and have been for a decade. Learn to party, square.
>>41047640that is not partying anon, that is addiction.
>>41041077my weed usage is currently at one monthly purchase of $110 oz, usually 25-30% THC, I am going to do sober october and then I might try to switch to CBD. The paranoia and anxiety that THC gave me makes me schizo/polar when it isnt making me the greatest mind of our generationanyway once I am less deluded I'm sure that I'll realize that I don't hate sober me I just wanted something to relax, cbd is my hope but if I go back and stay THC I wont be sad. Come from a long line of drinkers and I kicked that with ease, and am aware enough to know when to shut my mouth and walk away if I'm stoned and misfiring.
The green demon - The ill effects of kratom can take awhile to sink in. The way it quietly wraps it's tentacles around ones soul is insidious. It's safe on the front end as it doesn't depress breathing leading to OD like regular opiates but it can chip away at your life in a long game type of way. Also works secondarily at dopamine and serotonin so if your a long time user it's like kicking a SSRI. It has it's place as a therapeutic agent but aggressive lobbying greatly downplays it's dangers. Advise infrequent use at most and stay away from extracts as people a throwing as much money on those as hard core drug users.
>>41049344checked for truth. I know someone who was my best friend growing up who has been addicted to kratom/all other opis for over 15 years now. They are doing 45g+ per day, even up to 60gpd. I feel really bad for them but they do not want to stop.
>>41049361excuse me, on second thought, not over 15 years, its been more like 12-13 years I believe. it does not really matter once it becomes essentially endless anyway.
>>41040127I don't know how you do this without puking or coughing kratom everywhere. The best way is to make a slurry with juice and chase with more juice
>>41049453the ultimate way to take kratom (i used it for a decade) is to mix it with OJ or something similar and put in 1 lil drop of olive oil (this cuts the foam that forms if you do not add olive oil) in a small bottle and shake it up hard for 10 seconds. you drink that down in one go on an empty stomach when you wake up every day at 6am because your starting to go into withdrawals with double as an alarm clock and then you chase it down with hot coffee or hot tea like they do in asia where kratom grows in the wild. You repeat this process every 6-12 hours just to stay afloat.
>>41039928It's a productivity stimulant-like tool at low doses. Like anything else, drug abusers ruin the name.Asians chewed on the leaves for millennia as a mild pain reliever and energy source. Ofc in the west we import kilograms of refined powder with extracts and pound down dozens of grams daily.
>>41041374It's very bad for your liver, even if it doesn't make you throw up. Both alcohol and kratom are hepatotoxic
>>41049502Although it is not INCREDIBLY addictive, it is a fact that in Asia the majority of people who use it are addicts, just like in the united states. The majority of people who "use" opioids of any kind kratom or not are addicts, everyone else has just "tried it", but does not really "use it". I have seen some people be the kind of people who can use it occasionally and stick with that, but very rarely.>>41049507please show proof kratom is bad for the liver, would be interested.
>>41049507This is no joke. I have a fatty liver, and even small doses of kratom are enough to lock me into the fetal position. It feels good for like 20 minutes until the pain takes over.I almost blacked out once while walking up the stairs because the pain was so bad, that was the last straw
>>41049507God dang...im even more glad I quit now. Just looked it up and apparently it is hepatoxic with long term heavy use. Thanks for mentioning this.
>>41049535Damn dude. I bet you can't drink either, can you?
>>41049531Idk how you define an addiction, but I routinely go weeks without touching the stuff and use it a few times per month at low doses. It's not a binary between being an addict vs trying it and dropping it forever, just like many people around the world can handle a few glasses of wine per week.
>>41049453It's hard to explain or even show someone, but you have to "airlock" your mouth until you take the "wash down" sip. No breathing through mouth or nose while dry kratom powder is in your mouth. As soon as the kratom in your mouth gets wet, you can breathe through your nose again.
>>41049611I can probably drink small amounts, but I don't drink at all anymore so hard to say. The pain from kratom was worse than anything from drinking though, even after trying different kinds. Maybe because it's so concentrated?
You know how many Asians don't have that gene that processes alcohol and they get sick? I heard that Asians process this stuff a lot easier and is less addictive for them. However, if you're Caucasian you need to watch out more because it'll hit you a lot harder and also be very addictive because it's very foreign to your body. Like an Asian taking it will feel like drinking a strong tea to them whereas a European taking it will get hit with a freight train of euphoria and end up completely dependent on it. FYI with it YMMV
>>41049361I say its insidious because it occupies a cognitive blind spot as it doesn't seem problematic because it's legal, affordable and "natural'. It took me a long time to accept my "healthy green drink was wrecking me. r/quittingkratom on reddit was a god send. Maybe send your friend there and he can relate to some horror stories.
>>41049741my friend is in a catboy junky alcoholic autistic hellhole and does not desire to quit. not making fun of him, just being utterly honest. after getting clean i simply can not even be around him. he is utterly non-functional.
>>41049361>I feel really bad for them but they do not want to stop.Maybe they don't feel a reason to. It's like smoking, I was addicted for a long time and tried stopping but was on and off. But when I was truly ready to quit, I quit with ease
>>41047211I thought ephedra got banned. Is the herb reliably available again?
>>41050875I got it from a somewhat underground source. I only use it occasionally. Its nothing amazing.
>>41039928I have taken absolutely heroic doses of kratom and I have never felt a damn thing from it. No positives or negatives. I'm convinced it's a meme.
>>41039959just do as much kratom as you can without throwing up, 5g - 12.5g>Kratom tastes awful so I use the pillskratom powder is economically better you can get like twice as much for the same pricedrink tea and water with it>>41039977nah you get more effectively high when you eat it with an empty stomach
