I've been reading several books (planning to order way more) about gnosticism and I still feel as if I haven't achieved gnosis. Any help /x/?

It is supposed to be an inherent thing. True gnosis does not require consumption.It can be artificially infused into your psyche as a parroted mania depending on how acute your neural tissues pattern recognition is with minimal consumption of the original catholic, buddhist and muslim, etc scriptures. You will read each of these things, really any and all things relevant to such a relatively lofty and unattainable pursuit, consuming until your soul whispers to you 'these words are wrong'/you see obvious logical inconsistencies that are clear evidence that the author is just another earthbound caveman scribbling their collective fanfiction into a tome and peerpressure mindcontrolling the sheeple of their era into obeying under a sad imitation, parasitic guises of God.It doesn't even need to be religious texts, since all earthbound creativity is derivative thus far, until the space era is breached and true isolated interplanetary artform exchanges commence. Earther sourced themes constantly spill out in all directions within their various fields of craft, influencing sometimes entirely unrelated forms of media, so even consuming such miscellaneous and seemingly random data can also artificially induce the logic pattern that leads to the self inflated egotism that is gnosis.I hope your adventure towards knowing that you know will be worth it, but what will you ultimately do with that? The spirtual life unfolds as an overlay ontop of a solid physical foundation. It did not come from idle hands and super duper interesting visions. Visions came in their own time with the right purpose, but did not need to be chased.
