Is it worth it to take these tapes seriously, or is it much better to listen to binaural beats while meditating?https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHU_ADAgLCXbUu7Q-Uupfe94ODw19wzpN&feature=shared
>>41043689#2. Monroe is a grifter.
>>41043958Please elaborate...
>>41043689Both are useful in their own right. Just don't fall into the trap of paying for them.
>>41043996Oh no, I found gateway tapes on YouTube for free. I tried listening to a few of them with an ad blocker on Firefox. I wouldn't pay money for that.
They are a framework to help you understand the power of imagination (unironically) and will. You can make up something that would work better for you once you understand the process.
I never had any success with them and keep in mind I used the flac versions as well as used them extensively over 6 months. Nothing ever happened each time besides 30-40 minutes of relaxation and feeling deeply relaxed but no vibrations, no images, no colors, no falling sensations. Nothing. I couldnt even visualize the rolling over like a log stuff or floating up like a cloud in the separation tapes. have to say monroe is lying because he said he layed down on a couch for 10 minutes and experienced vibrations in his body so either he's extremely lucky or lying. Or there's some other factor that's preventing this like EM frequency or something as he did do his experiences in the 60's when cell phone towers and frequencies were a lot less so maybe because there's radio towers everywhere or government fuckery it might inhibit people to telepathic connection or something like that. They do put me into a state of relaxation and into a deeper level of thinking if that makes sense, like a light trance where my body feels asleep but I'm still conscious of my mind and the sounds around me are still there. Nothing more than that though.Nothing paranormal or ET like happened such as images of ET's popping into my head or telepathic connection with them, even though I invited for this and gave the consent of my free will many times. I gave the okay for them to do this multiple times probably 50-80+ times in the most friendly and inviting way possible but nothing. Just empty blackness behind my eyes.
>>41044042Ohhhhh. What about the out of body experiences that people claim to have while listening to the tapes?
>>41044053all there is bro. just you and God in the vast emptiness.
>>41044053Same experience for me too. I think psychedelics would be best for connecting with E.T.'s if meditation and gateway experience doesn't work.
>>41043689>BE HONESTOkay but you don’t want to hear it.Neither are of any use beyond the fact that if you listen to them you might just relax because you are probably lying down in a quiet place. But in no way are they helping doing it, it is just the act of relaxing that’s helping you.The theory behind them is junk. Two tones don’t make a third in the brain. So it’s just a placebo at best. You can listen to the original tapes or whatever zoomer junk on YouTube and it will be equally effective.
>>41044038Phew hahaha. Definitely try them out. I found that the gateway ones for me are better for when I am trying to channel energies, as opposed to projecting. I find some other 'generic' hemisync audios to be better for that. Over time you'll notice that that "Brain following the sound" feeling becomes less noticeable over time, and that's more or less the point of them; exercising both hemispheres of the brain to synchronize is a skill not a ton of us are good at, so the tapes help develop that skill. Eventually you should be able to encourage synchronization at will, without the assistance of the audio. At this point for me, I know certain audios that will trigger projection faster than others, so things I listen to are more dependent on my goals.
>>41044082Religion is separate from spirituality. God doesn't talk to us; it's various spirits and our own sub conscious wisdom.
>>41044098It didn't work for you too. I see.
>>41044119What benefits come from synchronizing both hemispheres?
>>41044237No but the vast majority get nowhere with these,Now the actual Monroeinstitute with the sensory deprivation pod things is meant to be more effective but regardless it doesn’t take much research and investigation to work out what is (not) going on here.If they help people fine, placebo or whatever, but OP asked for honesty.
>>41044073The tapes just get you in a mindset, they don't do anything on their own. As for OBE, just try yourself. Nothing I can say matters.
>>41044250Thank you for your honesty :)
>>41044264Have you had any out of body experiences?
>>41044053Part of Roberts Supposed success is him having a triangle (like a pyramid?)>>41044250How so?
>>41043689Youtube compresses the audio so it won't work. Use the flac version, you can easily find a link in the archive or on reddit.
>>41044073>out of body experiencesI had, but they were only my imagination. See, I was floating and flying above my village and it felt more or less real at times, so I flew near the window of my bedroom and knocked the shutter quite hard. In my hallucination, there was a sound, but my real ears did not hear anything, so it was not real. I don't know how to explain but I could tell the difference between sounds in my hallucination and real sounds. And my ears were not asleep, I could hear the tape, and at times I could hear my brother yelling while playing online games in the next room, so if it was real I would definitely have heard that hard knock in the shutter.
>>41044437Oh okay.
>>41044467That is just my own experience though, I have been using the tapes for less than two weeks and I am still trying to get better results. Some people claim to have successfully manifested events or shifted reality while on focus 10 and above, because it's similar to the void state used by reality shifters, or the state akin to sleep used for the law of assumption.
The tapes are what they are. The human brain’s two hemispheres normally sync up via fast electrical rhythms (like gamma waves at 40 Hz) to create seamless awareness. But neuroscience reveals that dissociation, a detached mental state linked to ultra-slow 1–3 Hz delta waves in the *retrosplenial cortex* (a deep brain region that stitches memory, time, and self into linear narratives), temporarily disrupts this harmony. In this state, the brain’s usual timekeeping falters: memories fragment, past and future blur, and the sense of “you” dissolves. Programs like the CIA’s Project MONARCH exploited this by using trauma to overwhelm the brain’s stress systems, forcing dissociation to destabilize identity. Similarly, the Monroe Institute’s Hemi-Sync uses binaural beats to attempt to induce a dissociative state, as your brainwaves sync to the auditory hallucination of the binaural beats. These processes mimic meditative states where the retrosplenial cortex quiets, freeing the mind to process reality non-linearly. Trauma-based methods risk lasting harm, hijacking survival circuits like the amygdala, but controlled techniques (like soundwave entrainment) suggest we could ethically harness dissociation to rewire trauma, boost creativity, or even study how the brain encodes time.
>>41043689Doesn't really work, you're more likely to have an experience if you pay to visit the institute and undergo the legit process in that room/pod setup they have.
>>41043986NTANothing to elaborate, think about it, the guy has been dead for like a decade or more, how can he be a grifter. To reply to your question if you are the OP.Yes, YMMV but it's worth to take these tapes seriously, not all exercises are going to resonate with you from the getgo but it's valuable stuff.
>>41044038>I found gateway tapes on YouTube for freeEviscerated to streaming tier compression, try to look for the hq mp3 at least.
>>41044796So isn't there a risk to damage your brain, having trouble sleeping or concentrating, if you use the tapes too much?
>>41044796Interesting information. I need to look into that. >>41044823$$$>>41044873What's the difference?
>>41044946>What's the difference?more accurate frequencies.
>>41045051Ohhhhh. Okay.
i think enough meditation will lead to the same conclusions. thinking of a thought thinking of itself
I lean towards meditation myself.
>>41044053Worked for me, and that was before I had even heard of the monroe institute. I stumbled upon this world behind the veil. I can assure you it's real. Call me what you want, a liar or whatever but if you are interested I can share what happened.
>>41044356Yep.
>>41043689if you have to ask it wont work sorry but you just ruined it for yourself for questioning it i guarantee 100% it will not work for you now
>>41045592>if you are interested I can share what happenedPlease do.
>>41045592do share it
>>41045592>Worked for me, and that was before I had even heard of the monroe institute. What do you mean by this?Do you mean you used the gateway audio files without knowing they were from the monroe institute?>I can share what happened.I'd actually be more interested in you sharing the specific audio files that you used which worked for you. If you are willing to share that please post a link to it, upload it to a mega or something, or google drive and share a public link for specifically those files.
>>41045592Please share with us. >>41045639You too, please share what happened (unless you're the same anon as above).
>>41043689The people pushing it seem cult like. Also reports of horrible nightmares and shadow people. Its basically inviting yourself to be haunted. I don't get the upside.
>>41044053If you read pic related then the road of progression to deeper states of body vibrations or mental images and colors will start to make sense. I did only one 10 day silent meditation retreat before and was able to achieve body vibrations within 10 minutes of sitting on around day 5 or 6, and astral projected on day 8. I haven't tried hemisync
>>41046215The shadow people never actually DO anything other than be seen. I'm interested in this stuff because it seems that we are supposed to explore everything in this world as spiritual beings.
>>41046306Okay. Thank you for the recommendation :)
>>41046522Forgot to mention that the various levels of states are called Jhanas in buddhism, the book will go through all those with practical application throughout. It reads like a textbook
>>41044053>I used the flac versionsThat means nothing if you used the tampered ones they sell (and were provided by pirates) that have been confirmed to not work. You at least have to try the original ones.
>>41045758>>41045789>>41045809>>41046116I like how >>41045592 just gaslighted everyone about sharing and then immediately abandoned the thread lol.
>>41048459This whole narrative of there being tampered versions is BS trying to dissuade you from using the tapes at all. Ignore this post.Read my hemisync experiences here, I saw a lot of crazy stuff: https://pastebin.com/vmYHvMVs
>>41048654>This whole narrative of there being tampered versions is BS trying to dissuade you from using the tapes at all.1. Share the specific audio files you used, that narrative isn't completely unfounded, I have found downloads for the original cassette tapes in digitized form, there are a lot of versions.2. Do you have any mental illnesses or have you ever had a mental illness or experienced a mental breakdown?3. Do you smoke weed or have you used any other mind altering substances?4. What do you mean by "hallucinations" and were they just things you imagined, like a visualization (experiencing it as 2D space) or were they like a lucid dream (experiencing it as 3D space)?Question #2 and #3 are important because these factors may influence why you are having hallucinations from just the orientation audio. Question #4 is about knowing what you are calling a hallucination. There's honestly too many variables because everybody interprets things differently, and most people leave out the important extra factors (like in Question #2 and #3) when describing their experiences with things like this.
>>41048734https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jPv9wiKbf9SREBAHOHfaXU7i7S-IsJsP?usp=sharingThese are all FLAC. You have to download them to get FLAC quality, don't listen to them in-browser. There even is a fixed version of Five Questions as the version most people have has some audio glitches in it.Yes I have had psychosis but I did not have it during the time I listened to the tapes. I was in my right mind. I think people with schizophrenia/bipolar are able to tap into these things more easily, so I don't see this is as something that disqualifies my experiences. Not for years have I done any drugs. Again, this shouldn't be a disqualifier if that's why you asked it.It wasn't exactly like a lucid dream, but it was like a 3D daydream every time where I was forced to see these things which my own mind was not making, but the tapes were making.
>>41048766>so I don't see this is as something that disqualifies my experiences.I'm not thinking of it as something that disqualifies you either, I'm thinking of it as something that primes your mind to more easily experience these things. It's very difficult to do something your mind has never done and can't comprehend. This is why I was also interested if you used hallucinogenic drugs, because that would also mean you've had those experiences so your mind is primed for that function and already knows what to do.What I notice is that people often tend to leave out the "prerequisities" that allowed them to become capable of something, because to them it was inconsequential and doesn't even register as a factor as to why they can do what they do. So when they tell people how they did something, they unknowingly leave out those extra details, and that just leaves the other person frustrated as to why they can't replicate your results. Thanks for the downloads, maybe I'll retry it again with those audio files, I tried HemiSync once for a few weeks and it just never did anything special. At best I was just in a low level hypnotic trance, but no visualizations or anything special happened.
By the way, only use a wired headset. That is an advice I never see in any thread about the tapes although it's important: do NOT use any wireless headset for the tapes. See, with wireless headsets, the sound is compressed before being transmitted so there is less data to transmit, so it's exactly like converting to mp3, the waves will be altered. However, I noticed that it works significantly better with cheaper earbuds with weak bass than with higher quality earbuds with strong big bass.
>>41048844Honestly this looks like the same FLAC files I've used and downloaded before. I think there are other things I need to train before I come back to attempt this, as I've listened to the original cassette tape audio (there's a A and B side audio because you have to flip the cassette tape) and it still didn't work for me. This is what I mean by prerequisites, they are the most important thing when it comes to training anything, and it's the root cause of frustration of people practicing anything occult/spiritual. Without knowing what prerequisite experiences you need to have or skills you need to train, you'll just be stuck on an endless uphill battle.I'll come back to hemi-sync at a later time when I'm finished testing the other things I'm training right now. Still, thanks for the downloads. On another note, do you have a specific source/download for another spiritual/occult/supernatural practice you've engaged in and saw results:Qigong/Energy Work Method?Sigil Method?Lucid Dreaming/Astral Projection Method?Specific Meditation that created an intense hallucination or energetic experience?Effective Self Hypnosis Method/Hypnosis Audio Files?Etc.?Someone like you has probably already found some other interesting things that worked.
>>41048459>That means nothing if you used the tampered ones they sellCould you elaborate further and provide some sources hopefully?afaik there are three versions1. digited casettes (just the first two sets)2. original cds/flacs3. 'remastered' downloadable versions from wave 5 but the flac files have the same resolution.>So when they tell people how they did something, they unknowingly leave out those extra details, and that just leaves the other person frustrated as to why they can't replicate your results. There are no real prerequisites, maybe besides the anon at >>41048844 suggesting to use a wired headset, I have used earbuds, cheap wireless headbands for sleep, wireless and wired headsets, imo more important is to get an space as undisturbed as possible. Get the manuals too, there is additional information available that you might find useful.
>>41049693>There are no real prerequisitesIf that was the case it would work consistently for most people.
>>41046403There are several types of being that are being described by the term "shadow people".Some of them do a lot. You have to develop your own aptitude for cognitive perception before you will be gathering this knowledge through direct personal observation.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9CbLV3t-qo
Why in a straightforward discussion of decades old tapes that are there to help relax and maybe induce an OOBE do we get crazy larping.Shadow people lmaoLarpers always make up some shit when these are just some old ass relaxation aids.>these things are super deadly bro! These tapes will bring out the shadow people. Woooooo!Tiresome.
>>41050010https://www.lawofone.info/The method that these people were using to get their subject into the deep sleep state of mind is a good starting point. You don't have to copy it exactly. Just understand that everything around you matters and even the way you position yourself is having an effect. Find the right position for yourself in your own current situation and then you likely will see results that had been out of reach before.I only read the first book in the very early 90s and it helped a lot. Sleep became a time of focused energy and I could feel that I was aligned with something that was increasing my focus even as I drifted off to sleep. The binaural stuff is a prop that is attempting to achieve the same condition. However you get there the effect is very noticeable
>>41050358Honestly reads like some cult stuff and this is 100% unprovable. Some people channeled some entity and transcribed their conversations with it (and for some reason, the entity begins every sentence with "I am Ra"), like come on. Even if I believed this was true, this seems like another one of those "Right Hand Path" practices where the ultimate goal is to "unify with the source" and I'm not gonna put in a bunch of time and effort attaining supernatural abilities just to submit myself to some higher being, and worse yet, be assimilated by it. I could just skip all of that time and effort and just join a religion and accomplish the same goal.I'll leave this to someone else.
>>41050340People are so certain that they have already experienced everything there is to know about the universe.. until the experience is their own and they are isolated from the mainstream herd by their own simple knowledge of reality. If you have no personal experience of your own then it's got to be a larp.. and if not that then it's a mental health issue because somehow you are authorized to be the final evaluation for what is allowed to exist and what is not.As long as they describe the reality that you already know then they are acceptable? Real perception can be developed.Relaxing is only a very superficial beginning. Some people do make absurd posts..I have not even read the majority of this thread yet.. just got started and responded to a comment here >>41050308And here >>41050340Just bear in mind that it's probably not coincidence that the Monroe institute is a short distance away from Langley..
>>41050010>If that was the caseIt is the case, that it is not working for you atm does not mean it does not work, there might be a prerequiste for you, whatever that means, only for you, or maybe it will never work for you and in that case something else might. No elaboration on the tampering narrative, huh?
>>41050961>It is the case, that it is not working for you atm does not mean it does not workIt doesn't work for most people I've seen talk about it online, this is why a lot of posts are about finding the "best version of the audio", because people keep assuming that there has to be something wrong with the audio files they use, because it doesn't work. Of course it works for some people, but it seems fail more than it succeeds. So there has to be some other factors here.>No elaboration on the tampering narrative, huh? That wasn't directed towards me, that was directed towards another guy. You used the comment code for another guy, but the second quote you used in that post was from my comment and you didn't use my comment code for some reason, I only noticed that it was my comment because I wrote it.TLDR, this quote was from this guy (not me): >>41048459>That means nothing if you used the tampered ones they sellThis is my quote you responded to even though you did give me a "(You)" by using my comment code number:>So when they tell people how they did something, they unknowingly leave out those extra details, and that just leaves the other person frustrated as to why they can't replicate your results.
>>41050463Never mind the rest of what they were doing and their output product.. the point is their method for consistently creating the trance state in the channelers. The concepts are the main point I was making. Look at the ideas the channeler was focusing on. They were able to produce a consistent result even though they were using different people to channel. At times they were even talking about things that the person doing the channeling had no knowledge of and the messages were consistent even when they used different "channelers". The trance state was the one real identifiable thing that was tangibly evidenced. You won't necessarily achieve a change in your conscience awareness simply by listening to the audio. There are certain aspects of your focus that can either intensify the experience or diminish it. Otherwise the only thing that the Monroe institute audio was doing was creating a ritual process to interact with the hierarchy of authority. The confidence in the authority of the instructors was used to get people to mentally drive development of their own cognitive abilities. You can find your own methods for doing this.. or you can leave the entire field of research to someone else Only you know exactly what you are seeking.. a heightened capacity for cognitive perception does not have to have any negative connotations with it as baggage. What you will find out with additional cognitive perception is that you can perceive a lot more of what is going on within other people.. and then there's the responsibility of keeping your mouth shut to allow people to live as though they have been successful at keeping their secrets.https://youtu.be/qgawWCBj2JkThe binaural frequencies are a crutch for developing .. helpful but not absolutely necessary
>>41044374>Part of Roberts Supposed success is him having a triangle (like a pyramid?)What's that you say?
>>4104575 Ok, I will try to explain. Iam not great at lengthy explanations, and it is quite lengthy but here it goes. I never believed in anything of the occult or mystical side of life, iam very straight cut and always thought it was for hippy type people, I've always believed in reincarnation from as early as I could speak, and always had interest in aliens UFOs ect but apart from that iam v conservative. I got to about 30 years old and it was when people started talking about DMT and shit like that, it peaked my interest some more. So one night I started properly reading about mediation, thought I'd try it, specifically a technique called holotrophic breathing. I did this for a few weeks, and felt the tingling sensation which is normal as that's what the technique does, floods your body with Co2 which causes the tingling sensation. Shortly after this I mixed in some binaural 432hz binaural beats through a good set of headphones while I would meditate. Sometimes just the beats, sometimes mixed in with the breathing. This went on for a few weeks, I felt relaxed each time and saw some colours while eyes closed but nothing otherworldly. I saw it as an itch I'd scratched, then stopped doing it altogether. A couple weeks had passed and one night i was waking up in the middle of the night and as I was just falling back to sleep I had a loud, rythmic buzzing in the middle of my head, that got louder and louder with intense vibrations. My body felt like a ringing bell. This happened a few times that week, but one night I woke up and I was 100% awake and conscious but my vision was like everything was swirling, vibrating and buzzing around with different colours. From here on I obviously became quite alarmed. This happened on and off for a few weeks, and I'd always try to fight what was happening, but one night I thought fuck it and I let it continue, and this is the main bit. I let it continue and I remember looking down at my wife asleep in bed and for some reason
>>41052024> I was pressed up against my ceiling. Floating above my bed. Next thing I know I've been catapulted so high into the night sky I was above the earth. I was then joined by a blue spinning merkava? Multipointed star type being/object. It proceeded to pull me along through colourful tunnels and different places in space. Until I find myself floating in a huge dark ocean, just floating and breathing normally. This feeling was accompanied by an overwhelming sense of comfort, warmth and love. Like a knowing everything was going to be alright. I then made my way back to bed where I sat bolt upright, just in silence and awe at what had just happened, my wife still asleep next to me. These series of events changed me mentally. Iam still the same thinking type person, but for a while after I suffered from panic attacks, brain fog, and other negative emotions. I felt like this everyday life was mundane and having seeing the other side and what was possible, It changed my perception of everyday life. I wasnt even trying to get to that sort of state. I realise now that I probably experienced an astral projection, but at no point was I in control of anything, and for someone like me I found it very unsettling for a good while after. I've stayed well away from mediation and listening to that type of sound, and everyone and then it would keep happening but id always fight it away. It took a good few months/years for it to stop completely. I then found out about the hemi-sync files on X and realised the similarities on what I'd done and what was already written about. Like I say it doesn't happen anymore, and I don't want to pursue it further but I still get strange buzzes in my head sometimes and really fast undistinguishable images flashed into my mind in black and white and monotone colours. Who knows what really happened with it all I'd thought Id share. I will try and find links on the media I used. Thanks.
>>41050961>No elaboration on the tampering narrative, huh?The fact is that there are several versions and that if you compare their contents on a spectrogram they don't match and that people report the most recent ones, the one they're selling now, to not work.I'll just link to the correct ones:https://mega.nz/folder/Ns9mhDSC#iKKxSnq5EoG_GxYLeylrSg/folder/Vt8l3IBQNow, if you say "I tried these ones and they didn't work" or "they're identical to the ones I used and they didn't work" that would be something, and significantly, you'd be the first anon claiming that.Because we already knew other versions of the tapes didn't work.
>>41044374>>41051685i don't remember which book it was, possibly 3rd but one day he visited his old house and realized it had a triangular metal roof and had a feeling that he owed he ease of projecting partly to this geometry citing other examples or supernatural activity to triangles, pyramids, etc
>>41052182WTF!How did you get a download with all the cassette tapes, the best I could find was a torrent that only had the cassette tape audios for Wave I and it was only for like Tape 1 and I think Tape 2. This is the first time I'm even seeing the cassette audios for Wave II, I was just about to go to sleep, I'm downloading this before I do.Maybe I will actually retry this Hemi-Sync thing. This thread actually turned out to be good.
I posted >>41050594I meant to link these two posts as mine >>41050358>>41050308This was also me >>41051465>>41043689Honestly, by the time they declassified the information in 1995 I had been studying the subject on my own with the assistance of my native American heritage friends and I had become able to remain conscious during the visits from the beings from the stars which happen far more often than the general public would be able to find credible. My first experience with getting out of my body from an ordinary conscious state of awareness was with the help of a native American heritage friend who was just doing what they have considered natural.. they have meetings similar to pow wows that they attend communally during the time they are sleeping.. some of them may remember this in the next morning but it's not automatic or necessary. They come together in social agreement in this manner during the night. It's different for each tribal heritage group.. with some of them preserving their traditions in unseen ways beyond the linear physical material world.I gradually had several experiences that brought me further and further into a full clear conscious awareness during the nightly out of body interactions and gradually studied the material presence of our reality beyond the ordinary physical material context.Honestly by the time it was available in the form of guided meditation audio tapes I was only investigating it to see how the 'official' government trained psychics had been going about it. It seemed trivial by comparison to what I had already become accustomed to.I had found a way to simply remain conscious during the time my physical body was asleep and had been studying in various contexts of what is available to explore once tangibly oriented to the out of body experience.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9CbLV3t-qo
All it did was make me sleepy and I felt like killing when I woke up
>>41052182Oh, make sure to back up these files to an external hard drive just incase (well, I'm sure you already have this backed up to some kind of physical storage but just say this just in case). Also, the archive is a bit larger that it should be since there is a duplicate archive - of the MBT binaural beat files (there's one in the meditation folder, and a copy of that same archive in the Hemi-Sync "Misc" folder, so you should probably delete one if its your archive and not just an archive you found). This day was about to end on a bad note for me (annoying circumstances). Finding this library and these downloads right before bed time was a good end to the day.>>41048766You should probably download the hemi-sync audios from that mega too.

>>41043689Bob Monroe was a FraudIn his books he consistently maintained that he was not on drugs during his experiences. He said that he had experimented with inhaling glue fumes several months before on accident, and said that he thought the experiences might have something to do with his experiments with sleep-learning tapes. Here is the section from his first book where he claims these experiences were "out of the blue": https://archive.org/details/journeys_out_body/page/n17/mode/2upAfter reading his first book I was very skeptical so I did some digging. I came across this blog post (https://obeoutlook.blogspot.com/2013/09/review-journeys-out-of-body-by-robert.html) where an anonymous commentor said:"I've always wondered if Robert Monroe actually got started with out of body experiences by sniffing glue (or shelf cement). In the 1962 book, Beyond Telepathy (published nine years before Journeys), author Andrija Puharich (on page 67) tells many of the same stories found in Journeys Out of the Body. The stories are exactly the same, though poorly stitched together, from Monroe's diary...almost word for word. The only difference is that Puharich's version attributes the experiences to Monroe's habit of sniffing glue in the middle of the night. Monroe later denied this claim and called Puharich a liar, but I've always wondered if Puharich was telling the truth and Monroe was just trying to protect his reputation."
>>41053418So I did a google search for "Beyond Telepathy PDF", went to page 67, and read the chapter which is about Puharich's work with Bob studying his experiences a decade before Bob released his first book. Here we have the unedited version of Bob's diary which he used for his books and which shows he was huffing contact cement to induce every experience! This guy went around acting like he was receiving some divine gift from God when it was really just his adventures in glue sniffing. I'm copy/pasting the relevant text from Beyond Telepathy below but use the link if you want to finish the chapter:https://archive.org/details/BeyondTelepathyAndrijaPuharich_201903/page/n65/mode/2upThe best way to understand the dynamics of the mobile center of consciousness is to study the experiences of an individual who has had many different degrees of separating min d from the physical body. The subject is a forty-four-year-old highly successful New York radio producer, writer, and business executive. He is happily married and has a glowing and warm home life. I cannot use his real name because of his professional status, but shall call him Bob Rame. What follows are extracts taken from a diary which he has kept of his own experiences. I have carefully checked the entire series of episodes and spent much time interviewing him. He writes as follows:
>>41053422 "I wish to write it down in the event I, for some unknown reason, or unforeseen one, cannot repeat it in the future. It is not intended for any other purpose than to place it down in some kind of record, for someone, I know not whom, for what reason, I know not. I shall not tear it up or destroy it, in spite of future developments, as it is as honest and objective a record as I can make it And as candid."I was constructing a set of built-in drawers and a cupboard in our children's room. In a desk cubbyhole, a piece of plywood had to be glued in place with a cement. As I brushed on the cement, I noticed a feeling of lightheadedness and for a period I remembered nothing; when I was conscious again I was still brushing on the cement, but my arm and face were covered with it where I had evidently simply laid down on the newly spread surface. From the smell, I realized that I had probably been 'out' for a moment due to the ethyl ether content of the cement. The can had a big warning notice on the top to use with adequate ventilation."I thought about this experience for a while. I remembered as a child experimenting with a can of gasoline, smelling it until a dizziness came over me. I remembered the strange effect of ether and nitrous oxide in the few times I had had it, and my puzzlement over the strange feeling , not dreams, but feeling . I remembered having dental work years back, and while waiting for the dentist to finish another patient, I experimented with his ‘auto feed’ nitrous oxide machine, It was a pleasant memory.
>>41053425"My first attempt at inhalation from the can ended in my first surprise. One night, unable to sleep, at around two in the morning I went into the room where I had been working, obtained a can, and went downstairs and sat, occasionally taking a casual smell from the can. Nothing out of the ordinary happened for a while, not even dizziness. Then quite suddenly, as I looked at the can, I felt as if a ray or some kind of energy 2 had come down from a low angle and bathed the upper half of my body. I could not see this ray, everything in the room appeared the same, otherwise I felt and thought the same, it was as if I could sense the outline of it. It did not spread over the room, it was as if a flashlight had been turned on me, the outline of the beam being in that shape. The feeling was that of some slight warmth, a very low frequency vibration in the lower part of my body, a sense of relaxation, 3 and a knowledge that this was some form of communication. I had the feeling that I was participating in a communication, as though I were listening in on a telephone line where no one was speaking. After several minutes, the ray seemed to fade away, and did not return. Puzzled, I went to bed and slept
>>41053428 "I repeated this inhalation experience a number of times thereafter. These are my impressions of what went on within me. Several times I seemed directly in contact with a place that appeared to be a night club, although it may not have been that, I was in both auditory and visual contact with the place. It looked to be a room some twenty by forty feet It had a raised platform at one end, similar to a small bandstand. The center of the roam was bare, such as a dance floor. Except for the handstand, the room was dimly lighted, and cigarette smoke drifted across the lighted area on the bandstand. There seemed to be many people around the dance floor, and they seemed to be waiting for announcements. There was a microphone on the bandstand, but no orchestra. There was a slight buzz of conversation from the people around the floor, and the room felt quite warm."My vantage point was to the left as you face the stand, at the edge of the floor, as seen from a standing position. As I watched, a man in an ill fitting suit, rather chubby, walked up to the stand with several pieces of paper in his hand, made some announcements to the assembled people, reading from the papers, then stepped two steps down from the stand and walked away, I waited for sometime more for something to happen, then left. On successive visits to the same place, the place was completely empty, or the same condition existed as on my first visit. I have never been able to understand this particular experience.
>>41053435"Other times after inhaling from the can it was as if I tuned into various radio stations and people were talking, mostly along the line of jazz, foreign languages, odd music, and fast chatter. I made no attempt to do other than to listen, and no awareness of me was present, nor was any attempt to communicate with me present. Several times I was overwhelmed by what seemed to he a tightly jumbled series of voices, mostly in languages I did not understand. The 'messages' were coming so thick and fast that I couldn't seem to get through to anything. 4 The feeling that accompanied it was that these were unimportant, personal messages, and that it was too bad that the 'line' was tied up with these."At other times no matter how much inhalation, nothing seemed to happen. I would get the feeling that I was being wound up tighter and tighter, as if something were being speeded up faster and faster (my pulse stayed the same, and I had the definite knowledge that I overshot the 'point'), and I was doing nothing more than getting a jag. 5 This same incident occurred many times during my experimentation with exactly the same results. In the end I would get sluggish in speech and body movement, and decided to lie down and sleep. Upon awakening I seemed to suffer no more than a consuming thirst, and the entire sensation was gone, as a matter of fact, at no time have I ever felt serious after effects.
>>41053441 "My first experience that struck me as being more than a dreamlike state was one night when I lay down to go to sleep. Not being very successful at sleeping, I picked up my can of cement and began to breathe it deeply. I suddenly slipped into the condition I have described earlier, namely where there was some sort of ray either entering my body or leaving it 6 I do not know which. I began to feel tired and forced myself out of this condition. I waited awhile and a heavy roaring started in my head, and some sense of low vibration appeared in my legs, and I decided to stay with it this time. A force seemed to be sweeping up and down my body regularly, 7 and I got a lit le used to it. I thought I would try a little of its power. I mentally tried to force the power to move me upward out of bed, it did! I floated upward to about four feet over the bed. Rolling in the air, I looked hack down at the bed and there was my body, still in bed!"My wife was sleeping alongside my body, and I could clearly see her. I floated over her, by willing it, and then moved down and patted her on the cheek. She didn’t respond, then I floated back over my own body, and began to have concern about my getting 'back in,’ Floating down I came in face to face contact with my body, but felt nothing. My physical body was lying face up, and I had floated down facing downward. I grew worried, and then I seemed to remember, and rotating on my body axis, I turned around and faced upward. There was a sudden blending, and I was in my physical body again, eyes open, looking out through the window into the half dark sky. I sat up in the dark, smoked a cigarette, and thought about it....

>>41054258Go away shill
>>41054258Are you the tranny jannie from r/astralprojection?
>>41054300>>41054335Not him but this seething makes me think you are the shills. Gigantic copypasta like this is not necessary or usefu
>>41053418>>41053422Seems like you're just desperate not to believe self-induced OBEs are possible or that anything Bob helped other people accomplish was legit? Who cares if his initial experiences weren't spontaneous, it's irrelevant in the context of his later work, because he specifically taught people other methods to achieve the same thing
>>41054518Not that anon but if he was lying about that I don't believe any of it. Probably just a bunch of retards thinking a vivid dream was a heckin astral projection.
>>41054879You're actually so dumb it causes me physical pain, please never post again
>>41054885Ok why don't you astral project your ass over here and fight me then fag boy?
>>41054938Don't make me look you up in the akashic recordsThe sleep paralysis rapes won't be worth this
>>41054944Go for it retardo
>>41054944>Akashic recordsFake. Never existed, never will.Blavatsky larp.
>>41054954You don't have to worry I was just kidding, I don't have any interest in raping you I was just cranky from sugar withdrawals>>41054982It's just a useful construct to access information within the greater psyche
>>41052471Huh, some guy uploaded them and shared them in reddit, people confirmed these are the working ones and I've been reposting them on 4chan like a parrot. To the point that if OP claims they don't work either I'll believe there's something wrong with him.
>>41055003They're a bit cruel, though, it's like that problem you have has a solution or the way to make your wish true has a series of steps you could do tomorrow to get it, and the information is out there, but it's being withheld from you.
I'll weigh in here. The brainwave changes induced by hemisync are not a result of the audio. It's the EM in the speakers on either side of your head. That was tested in a clinical setting. To get the best effect:Use a set of wired, high impedence headphones that do not do noise cancellation or any signal conditioning. I suggest something like DT770. When playing the audio, use a lossless, uncompressed format like FLAC. Use a player with no active signal conditioning (many players cut off anything below 2hz or above 20,000hz) and use a DAC (Digital to Audio Converter) and amplifier setup that do not condition the signal in any way. High impedence allows that a stronger EM field will be present and incidental inducted signal noise will not make it through. To OP's question: Yes it works fine for me, exactly as Robert describes.
>>41043689Had some intense dreams, visions and thought I was becoming psychic. Also had some sleep paralysis and some PTSD level nightmares that were horrifically extreme.
>>41043689the amount of negativity in this thread proves they work.
>>41055031>Electromagnetic leaking from speakers is what causes the effect. The larps never end. What a ride. It could just be that you have no fucking idea what you are writing.>>41055218I never get tired of that dumbass response.
I honestly just meditate in order to be able to control my thoughts and emotions, i have no interest in having an O.O.B or mystical experiences even if i am convinced they're legit
>>41054879There is a process of verification to determine whether the vision is legit observation or if it is some other form of visual imagery within the mind.Once you have an established percentage of accuracy then you can observe things that you are not able to physically verify and base the likely accuracy on the established percentage. Then, with comparison to other 'accuracy verified' viewers, viewing accuracy can be established by repeatedly observing the same target by these other evaluated remote viewers. This comes from a professional effort to make use of the phenomenon of information gathering through cognitive imagery and impressions. Not everyone is an armchair amateur forming their opinions at random.
>>41044053>have to say monroe is lying because he said he layed down on a couch for 10 minutes and experienced vibrations in his body so either he's extremely lucky or lying.I have felt the vibrations and even had a couple of genuine OBEs although they didn't last long, seconds at most. It's definitely a real phenomenon. I played around with Gateway but I don't think you need to go through all those visualizations to achieve this; they overcomplicate things. It's much easier to use the AP methods described by Michael Raduga or Robert Bruce. Look up the "wake back to bed" or WBTB method specifically, it's extremely effective, I was able to achieve the vibrations on the first night I tried it and had an OBE a couple of nights afterward. /r/AstralProjection has plenty of useful info as well.
Which one of these should I be using? The newer ones are completely different content to the older ones. AJ's voice sounds lame as hell too.
