This ties into my theory of reality.Basically there's the world right, everyone thinks that's reality and we should get as close to objective reality as possible to know the absolute truth.But the truth is that's not possible.What actually happens is you get data on the world from your five senses. Then your conscious and unconscious mind process that data. And that forms your reality.The problem you describe is what happens when someone voices thoughts and they have a lingering effect on your unconscious or even worse, you believe them and it alters your conscious thoughts.Now you're processing data differently just because some asshole said something like "nothing ever happens"
