Aren’t they both “father gods” and judges?
Saturn is the past and Jupiter is the future.
>>41049178Saturn = ConstraintJupiter = Expansion
>>41049280>>41049286I’m retarded, can you expand on this a bit? Who governs the present?
>>41049304So the idea is there's 7 classical planets and each of them has an archetype.Just a loose series of traits.Jupiter is expansion, growth, optimism, generosity, wisdom, morality...God the Father basically or Zeus if you want.Saturn is boundaries, cycles, death, rules, practicalities.Kind of two sides of the same coin.So I think of Jupiter as the unknown future, could be anything but hopefully it's good.Wheres Saturn is all gruff and is like"NO LAST TUESDAY THIS HAPPENED, DEAL WITH IT"Today's Monday so the moon governs the present lol
>>41049343Why is it that Saturn is the “bad guy” but Jupiter is the “good guy”?
>>41049814Good is usually viewed as the ability do whatever you willWhere bad is resistance to thisIf Saturn is discipline, boundaries, limitations etc. then it's obvious why some will also attribute hatred to that
>>41049814>>41049936Because of the context of mystery cults which oversee human progress,Saturn = constrain humanityJupiter = expand humanity
Just learn how to crop your photos It’s literally easy when you screenshot
>>41049814Saturn isn’t a bad guy and Jupiter isn’t a good guy. Think of it as different parenting styles. Saturn can be good for discipline for unhealthy behaviors. Jupiter can be bad in way a parent lets their kid eat whatever junk food they want and their kid gets unhealthy and fat. Or course both Saturn and Jupiter can be “bad” in extremes and both can be “good” also.
>>41049178I'm meddling again!
>>41049814You ever hear something said like ‘limitations breed creativity’?That sort of shit is the essence of Saturn’s ‘goodness’It’s why vacations only matter because they end. Why your life gains meaning only in relation to your eventual death. It’s the lesson you learn when you’re a kid and eat too much candy and note that your enjoyment of anything isn’t limitless. It’s when you’re grown and you start going to bed at a reasonable time to make the best out of tomorrow, it’s why putting a limit on yesterday makes today flow better.Saturn governs when you forebear, when you save, when your persist in something slow to yield returns like lifting or learning a skill.Everything has limits, and facing limits for the first time can feel like facing malevolence, cruelty. But instead you’re just facing the outline of something meaningful, the negative space in the picture. Ask a painter whether you can make a good composition with no negative space.Saturn does govern delay, disappointment, and sorrow, and it is especially exacting and frustrating for young people. But Saturn gives lovely things to the patient and the disciplined.
