Last year I took 4gs of Albino Penis Envy shrooms. I had done 2.5 gs before, synesthesia here and there and it was ok but nothing too powerful so I thought 4gs wouldn't be so different. At 30 minutes I had blacked out and went completely unconscious for the whole trip. When I woke up I had no idea what had happened, where I was, I didn't even remember taking the shrooms. Slowly, I started remembering what had happened, I started getting glimpses of the trip in the next couple of days. Essentially, what I remember is that the room started to melt and geometric patterns started to appear, kind of like Aztec or Mayan symbols/art. After that I remember thinking and remembering parts of my life where I was inside of the womb and simultaneously thinking I was already dead, all while the room melted into a multidimensional 7D vortex.Anyways, I think I might have gone insane thanks to this trip but just wanted to share my experience

I usually suggest people start with 1 gram and go up but I gift people 14-28 grams at a time so they have enough to experiment and slowly increase their dosage

I got 10x more insight and joy from the 2.5g and even 0.5 trips compared with that 4g APE trip. I dont know why I did such a high dose, I guess I had the urge to see behind the veil and seeing what a heroic dose was about. When I say I think I might have gone insane is because it completely altered the way I see life, some might call it an awakening I guess, but I never experienced that limitless joy and love from the universe, quite the contrary I started to see the world as it is, full of suffering, it made me realize the weirdnesses of life to the point that sometimes I get spooked by just thinking about it. I think psilocybin is a very potent medicine but there's definitely a high risk of depersonalization and psychosis as with any other psychedelic

And talking about life, shrooms made me realize that the ultimate trip is not taking shrooms but life itself, because for me I became fascinated, intrigued but at the same time scared with all the mysteries and the weirdness of life and the universe, quantum entanglement and the collapse of the wave function, retrocausality, information theory, AI, consciousness, psi phenomenon, the possibility of reincarnation, etc. All equally fascinating but its also terrifying for me to think of the implications of the fact that this universe might be a hologram. Who the fuck designed it? Who is the creator (God?) and going down the rabbit hole and asking questions like "whats outside the simulation?" But this is not new and goes back thousands of years to the allegory of the cave and the Hindu idea of Maya, the illusion of the world. For some having a trip means enlightenment and a profund peace, finally understanding the illusory nature of reality, for others it breaks down all meaning and they are able to see life for what it is which might spook them to a point that they cant handle. The truth will set you free but at what cost? I would prefer to be baking bread on the Mediterranean, living a peaceful life without any sort of existential question but I guess life doesn't always give you what you want
