Something for sure.I'd been out all night clubbing, had taken some shrooms much earlier that night and was now mostly come down. It was maybe 730am on a Sunday, and I was walking my bike through a park.First, I came across a fossil on a plaque. Then, a small model town. Post shrooms me thought that was all pretty cool, and smiling to myself I wondered what other symbolism i might see.A flash of white out the corner of my eye and I duck, as a barn owl flies through where my head was, up and away.I looked to see where it had come from. Maybe the manicured trees next to the road? Then I noticed on the other side of the road, the main masonic lodge for my city. If it hadn't happened to me and I heard the story i'd palm it off as trite and cliche desu.I have photos of the fossil and the little town so I know they were real. Masonic Hall I'd never seen before but it's also there.I'm convinced the owl was real too but I could be wrong. I definitely feel like I wandered through a bit of a something that day but I still don't really know what.Overall cool experience desu
I was walking my dog at night in park, because that day was hot as shit. See big animal on fence chilling getting sprayed by sprinkler. Is it crow or raven? No because it has ears it must be a cat, take out light and shine it up. Realize by bright eyes, head pivot, and huge wings it’s a big ass horned owl. Let’s me approach to about 5 feet and it takes off silently. Pretty cool experience.I know they can sometimes be screen memories of an alien abduction but I think this one was a psychopomp telling me it’s time to give up bad habits because a change is coming

>>41055119That’s not an owl, but a barn owl. In Spanish they have different names for the two species: búho and lechuza. Much better than confusing the two birds calling them the same name.

I once had a dream where I felt somewhat lucid or at least aware of being in a dream, but I was still motivated basically by instinct. I was outside of my bedroom window at night. I saw an owl flying overhead, and decided to fly up and follow it. We were kind of swooping away and back toward my house, past the trees that were covered in small lights like fairy lights or fireflies. I was overcome with a predatory instinct. I wanted to catch it, destroy it. I started flying toward it more aggressively. It swooshed back toward me and easily slashed me out of the air, it was not violent, or afraid, but trying to humble me. I fell back to the ground by my window, felt that I was just on the other side of the window, in bed. Then I was in my bed, awake. The continuity of consciousness was off putting. I still felt like the owl was flying around outside.
