Cartoons are not originally created by human imagination. Instead, they are the result of a metaphysical coping mechanism that activates whenever a demon is exorcised after being witnessed by large groups of people. Since direct erasure of the memory of the demonic form is impossible due to the psychic scar such an event leaves, reality itself "patches" the trauma. The patch comes in the form of a cartoon: a harmless, whimsical re-skin of the demon, inserted into both personal memory and collective history retroactively. Humanity believes the cartoon always existed, when in fact it was only “born” the moment the exorcism finalized.

Bugs Bunny for example is based on a hell-torture demon who endlessly inflicts "cartoon traps" on you, making you fall into holes, run into walls that look like a tunnel, blows you up with bombs, makes you shoot yourself with your own shotgun, etc. He was created to help those who suffered from such a demon reframe the endless cruelty as slapstick rather than trauma. Victims of the entity described it as mocking their screams with a drawling voice, always one step ahead, always impossible to catch. The cartoon version softened that torment into a clever rabbit with a carrot, transforming the nightmare of being toyed with eternally into the safe memory of laughing at a trickster outwitting a bumbling hunter.

Cartoons and other forms of post-industrial entertainment exist to help cope with the fact that industrial society requires us to be slaves devoid of autonomy and our natural habitat.

So in other words, yes.
>>
Yes. The most demonic forms of cartoons are anime. They’re designed to make losers attracted to demons, cat girls and children

Thomas the tank engine? I had a dream where at first Thomas was nice going down the track then at the end I forget most of my dream but I woke up extremely scared like 2 months before 6th or 7th birthday saying mommy I don't want to play with Thomas anymore. Was this just kid shit or does anyone else have stories of Thomas the tank engine being demonic? I also had early nightmare of a raccoon = vermin I assume

Not to mention DMT entities (which are demons) look super colorful and animated, and have that "mocking trickster" personality about them. Honestly even the stereotype "little red cackling devil" caricature lines up with a lot of toons already.

Don't forget the Hays-Code-era cherry on top

It makes sense. Some years ago I had sleep paralysis and kept seeing these cartoonish figures floating around, kinda like how early AI images would look, where everything was weird and intangible and nothing really portrayed anything. They began speaking to me with a thousand voices and told me that they came from 'below'.

Since then it has happened multiple times that when I've been near a screen showing cartoons I would see and hear them again, tho milder. It's always the same sentences they say about being closer than I think and such.

anyway i love this topic, and "coming from lower realms" (as depicted in Space Jam) - that's what we call "cyberspace" nowadays. the internet predates computers. of course.

real question: where do object shows fit into all this. i don't have it in me to sit through a full ep, i only watched highlights for good bits. but i got a big hunch there's something huge beneath/behind it, that manifests through spergy kids. they even make semi-professional productions based on objects with faces having competitions. why is it always a competition, but most of all what's up with this fascination of Brave Little Toaster games?

Finn subverts the story of Ganymede in several ways. If he is Ganymede, he's changed considerably, and painting a more independent picture of himself. Also, not a demon.
>>
>>41065075

Yeah, object shows are weird, but kinda fun. It all started because of Battle For Dream Island. Dream Island is probably some /x/ shiz. DREAM ISLAND Obsessional Park is something else that references Dream Island. That is a Susumu Hirasawa song btw.

So is the implication that cartoons are a memory of a memory of demons? Or rather that each cartoon appears as each individual demon is exorcised? MEaning, could Spongebob simply be an old take of an old demon or rather that his creator witnessed something as a kid and cope by drawing it as a funny cartoon.
>>
>>41062542
Okay... this creeped me out a bit. Quick story.

In 2023 I was in the hospital and I was on heavy drugs, so I had lots of weird dreams and hallucinations (these are actually called ICU dreams and are a thing). One of the scariest times in my life, I didn't know whether I was gonna live.

Anyways, on one of my deepest dreams or whatever the fuck that was, I was sitting in a long red-carpeted tunnel. And I was with my immediate family. Essentially, we were at "the end of life" and what I experienced was that we sat on that tunnel and we moved forward and the end of life, I swear to God, was the Looney Tunes black hole behind Bugs Bunny and I think the idea of "That's All Folks!" floated through the air, if that makes sense. I also remembered I jump started our journey by doing a cartoonish move of opening a hole and skipping a lot of the boring end credits of life. And we were laughing and enjoying watching the fun times of our life like some post credit scenes.

Huh. Weird shit and your pic brought that memory back to me.

Higher demons, like Satan, are exorcised into the creation of living animals. The goat is Satan in a less terrifying form.

Lucifer is not a demon, he's an angel. Also Satan just means adversary, that's not his name
>>
>>41074499
Lucifer is not in the Bible.
