They can even survive on ketones at least for short periods. They can also eat chitin so technically they do feed candida. You can balance that out by taking some lemon and baking soda which also increases the strength of the shrooms from creating an environment where less psilocin and psilocybin are broken down by the stomach I like to do a cleanse before taking shrooms because the parasites will survive on it but also make absorption more difficult

I will say that garlic, parsley and whole lemons are extremely potent against my drug resistant candida. Everyone is different, every gut contains a different balance of microbes, if you don’t want to eat meat, garlic and onions good for you, you may not need to. I have noticed for myself cheap low quality meat makes my candida symptoms worse, a high protein diet of grass fed beef, eggs, good quality chicken and veggies make my symptoms go away.
