Imagine yourself a spectator, Watching everything unfold right in front of your eyes while you cannot even move one inch of your body, Everything you cared for disappears right in front of you, Everything you built shatter right in front of you, The same thing repeats and you watch the same patterns unfold, And you can do nothing to stop it, It happens absurdly with no meaning and in a time you never expected it to happen in, yet it happens.. And it reminds you that you don't have any control in your life..

I want to just know where truly are we heading or what is exactly this odd thing that moves us

Free will apparently is the collapse of the wave, it’s something like chose your own adventure, but you have a limited amount of what to chose from. I have beef with my choices and I will use my free will in full force.

wait till you find out atomic decay rates vary based on spatial expansion and temporal contractions rates and that mass is hypothetical and that charge and lode density expand/contract space/time.
ps. the axions of gravitational cosmology are largely simulated and homogeneous in reality the earths pool of loded charge time grinds to a stop moon high, trololol

the more intelligent you are, the more you feel like you're making a deicision. this is just an increase in dopamine production after certain actions. otherwise you will behave the way your genetics are destined to function.

The effect that you choose beef is predetermined from you liking meet and in that circumstance you want to prove to life that you're not controlled by its shackles but that's where you're wrong
>>

Tragedy of intelligent is that you realize every pattern and life becomes so small and becomes predetermined and the patterns become so predictable yet you can do nothing about it , Every dilemma becomes lucid

Okay I'm back. So OP, free will is just our ability to choose. That's literally it. And yes many things are out of our control, but we still technically have the ability to choose. It may sound useless, but it is one of the most OP abilities one can have. You can choose what your future will be even if it ends up fighting against fate. No need to disregard it completely.

>One morning you awake with a superpower
>Every event that will happen in your life is as visible to you as the reality that exists in front of your face
>You know everything that will happen as something akin to photographic memory
>To you, fate is now clearly predetermined for all of humanity
>You know that you take this exact step at that exact time. You see the death of loved ones, yourself. You know everything that will occur, though your eyes, until your death
>Farenheit 451 alien style but with more of a human perspective

With this power, you are gifted the additional knowledge of an ability you may call upon, once.

>True free will
>You may use your free will, once, to change something about the fate that you have seen.
>Once you do so, the person whom you have most affected, will gain your power (curse?).
>Your photographic memory of the future will immediately become outdated through the butterfly effect of your one action
>You will go back to a normal existence, and the person whom you most affected through your action, will become empowered (burdened?) by this knowledge of fate.

>As you deliberate your new knowledge of the existence of fate vs free will (not the future events themselves as you can now see it perfectly as it will happen), you step outside to go to work/school/diner etc.
>You don't recall that you will see your spouse/parent/child/friend die as they step in front of a bus 10 feet in front of you in 30 seconds. You know that this will happen
>Do you use your one act to save their life? - thus potentially changing the flow of the universe forever and giving them the ability to act as you had.

Is the question of fate vs free will one where the answer will drive one mad?
Is a life of known fate worth living?
Is cursing another to this life worse than living through this yourself?
Is it a blessing, to have an answer to the question of fate vs free will?

Im sure I could have included or removed some of the rules to this power, or written this in a better way. Please let me know if you would change this prompt at all. I dreamt of a sequence of events revolving around this power sort of like this in high school and use it as a fun ice breaker some times.

Gaytheist or fagnostic or some new age spiritualism faggot LARPing as 32deep64you.

Denying free will is basically being a spiritual dindunuffin. And it's a loser mentality for losers who can't fix their life so they blame it on anything but themselves. Such failures to change what they want to change in their lives, they instead of accepting responsibility and accountability, they just deny freewill even exists.

It's dumber than Mormonism.

What happens to you in life is predestined. There is no changing or avoiding what is coming your way in this life. Free will is only to the limit of controlling how you react to what happens. How you define it and use it. Nothing more.
>>
>>41059486
But you can control your life. You can make choices and act on those choices.

Think of reality like a geometric structure. Every possible combination of potentiality is represented in the structure and so in this way, there is hard determinism. Past, present, future, it’s all baked in. You as a conscious being navigate the structure with free choice. So while every possible outcome can be predetermined by laplaces demon, it can’t know which way you will go, it can only account for every possibility.

This is similar to the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics except that reality isn’t branching into parallel worlds as you go, it’s collapsing possibilities and making parts of the structure restricted.

This also means time and motion is an illusion. For example, If you get up and walk to the bathroom, what’s actually happening is you are manifesting through different states of the universe moment by moment. A universe where you are here, now a universe where are here, and so on. You don’t actually move.

laplaces demon is so 1800s. get with the new century, man.
>>
>>41059486
People like you tend to confuse "I have free will to choose" with "I get to choose the list of options I'm allowed to choose from".

Being free to choose to do something, doesn't mean being capable of doing it.

Your will can be free even if your actions are restricted, because will is the ability to invoke thought, intent, desire, etc.

If I play you in chess, you are limited to the openings, midgames, and endgames you know. You are limited to the moves you see on the board, same with life. You choose from what you know are the choices available to you, based on the causes and conditions that brought you here. You have the free will to choose, but what you choose comes from everything that came before it.

OK. I'm going to imagine up a Rarity right now.

Freewill absolutely exists, but once you move in to the spiritual plane, you will generally polarize to one energy or another, and ultimately lose that free will. This concept is almost impossible to explain to someone who hasnt seen it for themselves, but "free will" is a matter of confusion, or narrow perspective.

Once the perspective is broadened, everything is purposeful and everything you do is with purpose.

>Myth of Free Will
stupid lazy retarded fucking zoomer. free will is at your disposal every waking moment but it's just that you're fucking retarded and can't actually see that it simply takes this wild word called 'effort' to do anything like better yourself, so shit dicks like yourself say free will doesn't exist to cope since it's too hard and you can't into it. stupid dumb fucking golem
