Its a long voyage, there's pretty high odds it doesn't even work.
It doesn't seem to be doing a hell of a lot, indicating its very likely its broken.
If it were powered up and working you'd expect some interesting comms back home, some last minute maneuvering, some classic radar/lidar sensing, some powered "aiming" interesting sensors in different directions, some deployed smaller probe/drones to analyze targets more closely, some deployed sensors (giant reflectors and lenses and magnetometer booms).
However its just kinda dead.
Possibly its waiting for closest approach to heat up. An interesting way to protect sensors and antennas and stuff would be to cover the ship with a thick layer of "wtf" that melts off as it approaches the target star. And its still melting off before it'll deploy the interesting stuff.

Fellow schizos i have 3 possible scenarios.
3i atlas uses Mars as a Gravity assist to
1. Impact earth ( no need for invasion, a straight hit to the face with that speed and size is enough to end everything)
or
2. Impact the sun. (The comet is filled with a load that will trigger a micro Nova , errasing us or at least our atmosophere)
Both scenarios are perfect because we won't see it comming given the position of it.
The last scenario is that a barrage of comets are comming our way because of some apocalyptic explosion millions of years ago. Omuamua, borisov and 3I atlas are only the first shards of shit comming our way.
