Ive been browsing this board for at least 15 years now and I am finally at a point in life where I am willing to do anything for a raised consciousness and persisting, unwavering internal peace. I have studied magic, alchemy, philosophy, and much of the esoteric in-between but I have rarely ever practiced it. I have done sex magic a few times and I think it was somewhat efficacious, as well as some other spells for manifestation but it wasnt enough, or maybe I was not doing it right. How do I get to next stage of life and graduate to the upper end of the bell curve? I am willing to give anything except my own spirit in exchange for internal peace and perceptive control. What do? Where go? What exactly am I looking for or rather what am I not looking for?I have experienced several notable supernatural events ranging from NDE's to contact with ayyyys, miracles, and others, I know of these things and I am not afraid, but I am lost. I feel that I must fulfill my purpose, no matter how absurd or mundane it may be.I am listening.

lucidity....my mind has locked onto the idea that i need to be lucid dreaming while awake, as well as when i'm asleep. if i can train my brain to recognize that i'm in a fake dream while sleeping, it will help me do it while i'm living a normal awake life. so far i've failed at doing both. most of the day i'm in NPC mode without any purpose, feeling stressed and melancholic. very rarely can i control my mind to focus on the fact that all of this "reality" is not real and not to take it too seriously.i think this is why "elites" (allegedly) do crazy, rapey, murderous polysex shit...they do it to break out of the norm, to see this world as an unreal dream while still living in it. and thus they can manipulate it, because it's no longer this objective and rigid thing. hopefully this makes sense. and no i'm saying we must do crazy rapey murderous shit, but it is an example. sort of how if you were lucid in a dream, and you saw women inside that dream, you could recognize that there would be no consequences to just sniff them or fuck them...now think about how men actually get laid in real life, they just use their mind to talk to many women, fearlessly, until they meet one who is down to fuck. meanwhile the overly serious guy gets no pussy, no money, lives in fear, because he isn't lucid.

My experience with eastern techniques is good at calming the inner storm but I have found little else with those styles. I feel called to vibrational meditation and I feel as if I had some success with that, especially when done with the aforementioned sex magic in the OP, but I stopped with that since my partner I was doing that with is no longer here. What do you recommend? I understand there may not be a one-size-fits-all; its just that after so many years, it is very difficult to combine the sporadic knowledge I've accumulated on the subject and use it appropriately for intended results, or maybe better said as "I really don't know what the fuck I am doing". You don't have to over-complicate it with spells and stuff yet, those are the cherries on top of a cake made of discipline. For me personally, it's very simple. I sit in a comfortable position, usually with the lights off because it's easier on my eyes, and try to keep my mind silent and alert. Anytime I notice my thoughts wandering and my mind drifting I snap myself back to attention and I repeat this until I'm done, the ideal is 3 hours a night but I'm lazy too, I usually manage about an hour. Learn to do the basics before you try anything else despite your past experiences. Think of people on deviantart adding all that color and detail to a painting that is fundamentally drawn badly.

It's not "shutting off your brain", you're actively fighting your own urge to daydream and think of random stuff. I care not about riches or wealth, nor vices of any kind. I am not motivated by power, but I am motivated by control. Finding the golden balance between the total exercise of intrinsic ability and the complete turnover of letting all things go has proven to be immensely challenging. What has stopped me from pursuing magic entirely can be summarized into two points: the first is instilled fear from Protestantism (which has waned over the years by repeated exposure), and the second is a sensation of being lost. The second point can be explained by allegory, if I was to ask myself "if I had a billion dollars, what would I do?", and I still cannot answer that question. I apply the same question to magic, if I had total control over my will and could impress it on the causal universe, what would I do? I still do not know, and that is what has stopped me. I eventually realized that all my desire to control is based in effect, not fear. I have already suffered even unto death and my fear has been destroyed, so now I am simply lost. Brave, but lost. Often times I have relinquished control, assuming that I am not competent enough to impress my will, but this too I had to realize that I will impact the causal chain even if I do nothing, that inaction is still action. Thus the throne and crown is there for the taking, and I believe I am ready to start, but I am still lost. I do not think it's a lack of knowledge of the esoteric, I think the problem is me, and now I am trying to solve it through the esoteric.I would give so much for one single word or sentence from someone who has ascended far beyond me... teach me what I do not know, teach me what I need to know. I refuse the left hand path, and I am willing to martyr as a saint or bodhisattva or beacon of love, to combat evil through a lens of the penumbra and not the piercing light. "Doing magic" isn't really a thing you can do incorrectly. Also, be sure not to run to places like this and ask for help. It's just like running to a finance forum and asking everyone what to invest in.In both sides of this analogy, you'll have people hassling you to charge their magic methods or to invest in their investment so the number goes higher.
