The nervous system is constantly sensing a ridiculous amount of stimuli. The brain sorts through all of these stimuli and filters out the sensations that it deems irrelevant to survival. Altered states of consciousness like meditation allow some of the irrelevant sensations to leak into conscious awareness. You're always feeling these sensations but you're not usually aware of them, and so it feels strange. It's like the meme, "you are now breathing manually".

The forehead effect is very common, I also get that. It's the pineal gland activating. You can do specific exercises for that, like looking at a light source and chant Om for about ten minutes everyday

ra material answer i dont remember exactly but something about the multiple (7?) different ascending chakras in body from butthole to head. if u feel tingly or certain feelings it corresponds to an energy blockage occuring at on of these. the ideal feeling being a complete full body and potentially external torus of something instead of especially localized. middle chapters will have exactly what each part of body/chakra corresponds to - in terms of potential solutions

Hormone secretions clogged. Meditation helps drain blockages and start producing. It's not complicated. And yes it's a spiritual answer because proper balances, channels, and secretions helps spiritual senses along with other things.

It's your neural body sense, and there's a meditation that uses it! What the Hel! Here:

You could stop trying to change things and listen to your thoughts dispassionately, and not try to actively change them, by just watching what you're thinking about. This meditation is similar to self-hypnosis, but it's not! It's simple enough, and it avoids killing off the Ego like Eastern thought wants you to do by starving it to death, or filling your mind with just one thought like "OM", so there is no Mantra.

You could do some relaxation on your body first: Sit in a comfortable chair. Bring your attention to your feet and tense them and relax, then tense your legs, let them relax, then move that tension/relaxation wave upwards toward your head, relaxing your whole body completely.

Close your eyes and bring your attention to your whole body. You should feel it tingle. This is your neural body sense. Bring your attention only to your right hand; it will also tingle. As thoughts arise, just dispassionately *watch* them. When you drift away or get lost, gently bring your attention back to your hand. Don't make judgments or judge anything, including yourself, or try to change anything. Just observe your thoughts. As you watch them, things will slowly be resolved - it takes some time. When you get lost in your thoughts, gently bring your attention back to your right hand again. If something is persistent, like music (you've memorized a lot more than you know), then bring your attention to what you're "seeing" with your eyes closed because it isn't completely dark ~ there are "lights" there so bring your attention to them and watch, and then bring your attention back to your hand. Occasionally, bring your attention to your forehead and "see" your hand (in your mind's eye) moving to your forehead, and maybe it will go there in time.

its called whole body bliss, and is usually very hard for people to achieve. dont blow out your third eye. a guru would tell you to balance your other chakras.
