OK. I'm gonna assume you have periodic occasions where you're forced to encounter this egregoric field, and you also have times in between where you get to feel your own clarity of the situation and you realise what's going on.
Whenever you're far away, build your mental resolve to remember what you intuitively know is right for you, and to stick to that at all costs.
Then when you're in the lion's den and compromised by the egregoric field, you won't be yourself and you'll be pliable (you'll think the egregore's suggestions are perfectly reasonable). That's when you need to remember your resolve at all costs and stick to it, even though in that moment the thought-field of the egregore will make you feel silly and irrational for doing so.
Each encounter with the egregore saps your energy a little more, allow it too many bites of the apple and the trap will close on you sooner than you think.
One tactic can be to exaggerate the damage the egregore is causing you without letting on that you know the egregore is responsible. An adherent will panic because it's too much too fast. But if the egregore feels like it's going to lose you as a customer, it might decide to go in for the kill and harvest you all at once. You might be led to believe there's an unexpected crisis situation and you need to stick around but this is a trap to draw you back in. So if you're going to claim back control, remember your resolve at all costs, even though you will come across as a bit crazy and irrational for defying the group-think in the room at the time.

What many modern "tulpamancers" fail to realize is how much sexual energy can accomplish in manifesting a tulpa. My pet theory is that the internet has made (some) people consciously aware to a degree previously unimaginable of the presence of the collective mind & its affects on the individual mind. I feel like the SR crowd (and RHP types more broadly) fuck up bc they don't even consciously recognize the magical tools they themselves are operating with. One of the first spirits you must cast out if you're going to do intuitive magic is the Ironic Genie. When you first start making sigils or anything like that, there's often this tendency to say "am I wording this just right? Am I charging this right? What if it manifests in this weird 'technical correct' way I actually don't want?"

Recognize that no matter how specific you are in setting your intention, it's never enough to explicitly rule out every possible way the spell could go awry. You could make a sigil that was a 10k page lawbook specifying every little detail you could possibly ever want, and the Ironic Genie would still be able to find some loophole to twist your wish into something undesirable. So basically no amount of thoroughness would ever be enough to ward off the Genie - instead, you have to move w/ the understanding that the real intention of your words is getting through, even if you don't lay out all the details just so. Acting with that assumed confidence is the only way to actually improve, because you will in fact fuck up & need to revise your methods over time. But if you're overly concerned with getting it perfectly right the first time, you'll never gain any insight
