I'm looking for some serious life advice and the reason I'm posting to /x/ is because I think it's a spiritual problem.The bottom line is that I'm 35 soon and it seems that no matter what I do, I can't seem to find any "joy" in life, or satisfaction, or anything like that. I haven't felt excited about anything in a long time. I have a stable income and work at a chill company. In a way, I'm that stereotypical 2000s Office Space character, or Edward Norton in Fight Club... looking for SOMETHING, but no idea what it is. I'm always taking walks and staring at the horizon like I wanna go somewhere but I don't know where.I don't think my longing is for an actual, physical place. It's not sex or money either.Of course I have this fantasy that money would solve it all. Let's say I win 50m in the lottery, then yeah there's all kinds of stuff you could do: get a pilot's license, fly around, go see different places etc BUT... I know myself, and I know that after 6-12 months of this I would be talking walks and staring at the horizon again.So I guess I'm trying to find out what I'm even looking for.Any input appreciated. Or maybe I need a brain scan.
