What is your theory on this reality and why we're here? To me, the point that sticks out about this place is that life must consume life in order to survive. That alone is an indicator of this being a bad place to end up.

This necessitates theft and murder... or sacrifice ... or innovation. If Earth didn't automatically produce evil in this way, it would be no different from Heaven, thus pointless. But it is all an illusion, a preparatory experience that individuates the soul and by clarifying its values and priorities.
It's proven that our actions echo through time, my own purpose is to make my actions have good consequences for whoever comes next, so i'm a firm believer that we're here to someday thrive as a reality. It's true that life consumes life but maybe that's needed too?

Evolution is building life/species into something. Idk what though. Some ascended form? Its all been progressing since the first protocells. Now human mind is the most complex system in the universe. Maybe it doesnt end with us. Maybe we go extinct and something else fills in the gap and progresses past us.
There's no reason for any of thisThe ingredients and conditions existed to create a self-replicating cell, and from there, everything exists because that's the only thing that could have happened. The only real purpose anything has is to live long enough to reproduce, everything else is filler.
