"Astral projection" is just creating a waking dream state, basically a self-induced hallucination that overrides sensory perception.

I once, with little expectation, did some meditation and concentration to get into AP, lucid dreaming or whatever.

I had a very vivid dream in which I was chained to a wall and I was locked behind a wall while chained. my own scream woke me up, I was tired, scared, when I was able to relax a bit and breathe normally, I tried to turn on the light, only to find out it wouldn't, I was still dreaming! I woke up in fear and took me some time to try again the switch, I finally did and lights turned on. Maybe this is still a dream, it just adapted to hide its true nature.

Hi, this seems like the thread to post this. I wonder if anybody had any thoughts on this experience and what I encountered.
I "tried" to astral project last night and I think I was semi-successful. At the very least, it was a lucid dream which I haven't experienced since I was a child 20ish years ago.
I "left my body" and went through the ceiling and started 'flying' to the tallest skyscraper in my city just to see what was happening there. When I got there, I encountered several two types of 'humanoid' esque creatures. The majority were these small, glowing white beings. I tried to talk to them, they seemed nice, but they didn't talk back. Then I encountered the being I am making this post about. He said to me "you can't talk to them yet" in a sinister voice. He/it was tall, shadowy, and the key feature was that he had antlers.
I don't remember all of what he said, I wish I had written it down (I'm writing this post hours later), but essentially tried to intimidate me to leave. I told him I wasn't scared of it, but I ended up being knocked back into the material world regardless. This whole experience only lasted a couple of minutes it seemed to me. Our discussion was brief and didn't touch on anything behind him telling me to GTFO.

What do we think? Just a lucid dream? What is this tall, shadowy being with large antlers like you would see on a buck? I thought he would've been nice when I first saw him...but he definitely wasn't.
Did I actually encounter something? Any basis for a buck/humanoid hybrid floating around the astral plane? He seemed to be in charge of the white, little glowy guys.

Some possible theories I have:
- Wendigo (based on the location) and its seeming malevolence. Wendigo is from Algonquin practices and those people used to live where I live.

-some kind of "horned god" like Cernunnos. I'm not sure I know much about this guy, just googling around. Same with Herne or perhaps Leshy. Although this is in an urban area and was never particularly forested. But this being seemed to have power and authority in this realm.

Pretty spooked. But I want to explore more. I'm going to try to replicate this experience tonight and maybe show the being a little more respect.
