I generally considered my my will power to be pretty strong, no porn/fap/ejaculating or drugs/alcohol, strict diet etc. but requested account removal of online poker site as I was finding it difficult to control myself.

I could feel my unstable aura change instantly from a win to a lose.
Financially I didnt lose very much, but more so concerned of lots of wasted time, the compulsive behaviour and the spiritual implications.

I think I need to cut this vice out for good to continue to spiritually mature.

Think about gambling as you're manipulating reality, you really need to draw a certain card to win. It's depleting your energy more you do it and online is fake and gay and demonic

Gambling is centered around the ideas of greed and materialism, leaving it to "chance" to trade your money for more money. None of this is spiritual. Having fun with some friends playing poker with free chips is a whole different story, however.

Not necessarily. It's all about the individual and how serious they take it. But then at that point, it'll be towards anything because of the mentality of the individual. A person who always needs to win is going to make themselves and everyone around them miserable eventually.
