Do any of you have any experiences with witches and spells?
Are witches legit?
I don't want to get scammed but I need some spells
>>
>Are witches legit?
Well, no and yes I suppose.
Witchery has sort of lost its edge in recent years. Not completely, not totally, but enough that lines are blurred and dull.

I think of it like this:
Witches are just mystics who are especially focused on symbolic offerings and ritual work. They are a flavor of sorceress and, these days, an aesthetic signal to others. Real witchery is not the same as cottagecore or goth, but there's enough overlap that people are confused now. Owning a black cat and cauldron doesn't make someone a witch. A man can be a witch. A witch can be a good person. People call themselves a "witches" and that doesn't mean they know anything useful about magic.

All of that being said, I believe that true witchery is actually tied to working with beings like Hecate and Cernunnos. It's not really "black magic" but spirit work with powerful entities and wilder spirits. When it reaches the point of animal sacrifices and offensive spellcasting that starts to overlap with Satanism in a way that is not balanced nor sustainable. Even then, I wouldn't consider a high-level Freemason a witch, for instance, but with openly Satanic mystics I don't think anyone would find the term inappropriate.

There are real covens and sisterhoods dotted about the world, and there are those among them for whom witchery is about belonging and acceptance in the shadow of the Divine Feminine. For them, wicca is light witchery adjacent to cosplay, and true witchery is inherently tied with female empowerment and resisting male authority. It makes sense that this aligns with secrecy and spirit work, because women who were genuinely powerful magic users were genuinely burned at the stake.

Believe me when I say, you *can* find witches and women mystics advertising their services and they *can* do a thing or two you might appreciate. But in my view, it is rarely ever a good idea to ask someone else to manifest change in your life. Either do it yourself or don't do it at all.

Witch craft is legitimate. The more legit, the better they hide. So let that be an determining factor before you throw your money away. And that's even if you manage to find one who is selling their services. It can be like finding a drug dealer.

Just a heads up, OP. You are not innocent because you used a proxy if this is to be directed towards someone else.

And another heads up, you're seeking to toy with pathetic forces of evil and you put yourself at full risk of becoming an outlet for this very same thing by indulging in it, directly or inderectly.

I wouldn't use it for harm but for personal use. I wouldn't want to piss off or cross a legitimate witch. I don't want those hexes and curses on me

NTA, but you should learn basic protective shielding and aura cleansing. Spiritual hygiene is as important as the bodily kind. If someone works with corruption and filth, they can contaminate others with it by simply being lazy. Even a well-intentioned witch might be working with something a bit too eager to attach to someone else.

Learn how to say NO and step into sovereignty first.

Regardless, you're seeking to involve yourself with chaotic forces who mislead people by telling them there's protective measures from these things but that's all a lie to ease your mind. The reality is that the evil forces behind these things are like the wild west. No rule really, but there is an oppositional force that keeps them in check. But getting involved indirectly with these things by proxy is still being done to benefit you in some way and that's basically you telling them you don't care how it's done just get it done and because of that have no idea what was done for it to be fulfilled.

For all you know something attached itself to you that you think is something else. Do you have the discernable awareness to be able to distinguish what is going on behind the scenes? Because these forces are scumbags and aren't trustworthy.

Do you have recommandations for basic shielding ?

I've always ran my shits on fuckall mode, never did a banishing ritual because the more the merrier, and pretty much never bothered employing structured means for protections.
>If it gets me that's cause it was fast enough to catch me and I respect that.
Or did. I'm at a point where things are getting intense and I can't spare to deal with the usual bullshit and I feel completely left out because I have never bothered to actually take care of it.

I know I could just redirect my will towards harmonization and rebuke external influences with it, but truth be told, my sense of identity has completely shattered this past year and I'm not even sure if the will is completely my own a hundred percent of the time.

By the way can we all agree how infuriating them yass queen tiktokable modern day witches are ? fucker think being a witch just means dressing edgy and having basic self confidence plus delusions of grandeur. Holy shit.

I use an adapted version of Focus 10 from The Gateway Tapes, but also smudging, bathing, and affirmations. It's all part of stepping into your power and recognizing oneness as truth.

A basic ritual can be as simple as lighting a candle or pouring a bowl of clean water, and the shielding can be very methodical or very simple as well.

Honestly, plenty of guided meditations and healing frequency videos on YouTube are great to get started with. I'm especially fond of this one for getting my head clear and ready: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cj9eeMf53wc

I'll typically use visualizations and pineal activation to get in the zone and clear my aura, then affirm personal sovereignty as a divine being, ask spirit for guidance and protection, and use breathwork and meditation to power the shield. I believe this is more akin to Buddhist monk methodology than what your average witch would do, but I don't know many witches these days.

To be honest I think that's a problem with what society has become. It's not just edgy tiktok. It's everywhere.

Even so, etsy witches can be the real deal even if they're very hippy new age wicca.

Thanks for sharing your practises. turns out I pretty much already got that covered lol. I use mudras a lot, affirmations and implication (feeling thankfulness for whatever you wish into actuality as if it were already done), as well as some minor breathwork, deity identification, mantras sometimes etc. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some lesser known methodologies.

>buddhist monk methodology
Very functionnal. Anyone can trashtalk buddhism all they want, their methods breed resilience and get shit done. Also filters out the psychic vampire and egocentrists. "Whaddyamean I am nothing" haha.

Weird world we have right now. Still, I understand why occultism is called occultism, and generally I am doubtful whenever someone advertises themselves as knowledgeable on occult matters or makes their personality about it. This is why I'd be very careful and maybe do a bit of divination to help find someone trustful before throwing money at anyone online to get my deeds done. Also if you care that much about getting something done, it can't hurt to learn basic chaos magic tricks and try your hands at it yourself and see if you get results.

NTA but thank you for opening my eyes, Anon. Sometimes I forget about these things
>>
>>41094371
Yes they are however it was essentially retarded bullshit. A girl I knew who was a part of some weird ass gnostic-christian sex cult cast a spell on me when I was maybe 11 and caused me to essentially have to fantasize about her every night for several years before I'd be able to fall asleep. There was no way we could have ever had a relationship and she was arguably kind of an asshole so I dont entirely think that this was just my hormones acting up. I also had several dreams/involuntary daydreams of her raping me. I had to go out of my way to cleanse that shit in order to get the dreams to stop.

Also yes, she was older than me. That probably makes it worse.
