In 2010 smart phones has just became common, social media was around but it was just people talking to friends and family or hitting on girls from their area. Troons were still seen as very strange and rare, gays were just starting to be seen as semi-normal. Saying slurs was still socially somewhat normal (in a causal setting). Politics was very basic and 99% of people had views that were pretty much identical outside of maybe 2-3 issues. Most people were still very happy and content albeit very sheltered and simple compared to today. Only nerds were completely tapped into the internet with normies just using it occasionally for work or social media stuff. Life (and your avg person) was still very simple and MOAThan came 2014-2016…This brief period would set the world on a completely new course. The 2016 election tore a permanent and growing rift in American society. The war in Ukraine plus Russian annexation of Crimea began which would of course explode in 2022 into a much larger geopolitical crisis. American intervention in Lydia, Syrian etc, China rising to a world power rapidly, Transgenderism and alternative lifestyles would become commonplace seemingly out of nowhere. All of this was like the spark on tinder that would grow to the forest fire we have today.

He said something like "oh, and by the way, I've been friends with Russia this whole time" and then he got airlifted out. As soon as he did, full on war started. Bullets started spraying and everyone was dying. I hid in a small alcove along the wall and had to press against the wall so as to not be exposed.It was pretty vivid and visceral.
