How can i know if I'm in the dimension I belong to and how to know if I'm not in a limbo/shitty afterlifeFor context: last month I was miserable about something and things got better but a street I clearly remembered changed and a very particular skin mole moved out of place, I'm not suicidal and I never was even during that time, but I'm concerned about the possibility of having killed myself and being sent to another dimension or even limbo

>>41131013That's not really how quantum immortality works, it's basically a first person bias, whenever an event occurs that bares the possibility of your death, from your own perspective, you will simply always be moved to a thread where you didn't die. If quantum immortality is true, then you, I, and everyone else has died an infinite number of times, to an infinite number of possible deaths over the course of our lives. There are countless threads in the timeline where you have already long since been dead, or have never been born, because the prerequisite events that led to your birth did not occur.

>>41131060More like sage's 563rd one, cos I (not OP) had a similar one, and the answer is "no, you can't know".
>>41131356Grow up, take responsibility, and stop blaming external agency for your problems, bitch.
>>41131013>>41131130Close, but no cigar. You don't hop to a different thread; You have been on the thread where you survive from the very beginning.
>>41131585I know I'm a little faggot and I don't like blaming anyone other than me, I'm just concerned about the possibility of being sent to an alternate dimension/afterlife because if I hypothetically killed myself I would have left someone I'm taking care off alone
>>41131013Lol that's nothing, I have a memory from my first death, when I was still a kid. You dont have an idea.
Basically if somebody out there has the power to do this, they have the power to completely hide from you the fact that it happened. This is another one of those, "best to not invent horrors outside of mans control". We have plenty of horrors already, that's too many horrors, put some horrors back.
