God created sex and everything that comes with it, why would he be prudish? Humans project their cultural biases and social constructs into an omnipotent being that doesn't orbit their idea of what counts as perversity.

>>41138034Sex isn't sinful but perversion is. Eating food isn't sinful but gluttony is a sin. Understand?
>>41138065Your idea of what count as gluttonous might be different from another person's idea of what count as gluttonous.A cake might be perceived as a gluttonous indulgence by a poor african that only consume bread and other simple food, while to a more rich person it might be the baseline.Understand?
Things have a hard truth to themWe should mind itAlbeit go about as we have to, imperfect.

>>41138034everything has its place in the ordo amoris. sex is subordinate to bonding and reproduction. when that order gets inverted you pay the price
>>41139246ty for exposing ur life anon
>>41139246You knowIt sucks but every perversion stops being hot after a whileNothing excites me anymoreI need more degeneracy
Sex, and the sex organs are not supposed to be used recreationally. I dont believe sex needs to be kept within the confines of holy matrimony, but i do think it should be kept as an expression of love.

>>41138091It isn't gluttonous in either scenario, unless you eat the entire fucking thing all by yourself. No, it isn't down to individual opinion. The only people who pretend to believe it is just want to get away with behaviors they know are destructive but don't want to be chastised for. Literally everyone knows what gluttony looks like. Like how everyone knows what porn is when they see it. Or how everyone knows what beauty looks like. It isn't subjective.
God creates us with a certain nature, we have certain powers which includes our reproductive faculty. Being moral in the classical sense involves rationally understanding our nature, our faculties, and their ends. To do something good is to will a faculty towards it's proper end (or at least not contrary to it) in such a way that it is harmonious with your being as a whole, your nature (which can be thought of as the totality of your faculties being expressed). To use your reproductive faculty properly allows you to use your other faculties better, and using it badly undermines your use of your other faculties. Immorality isn't breaking a rule, it's compromising the harmony of your being and putting your intellect and will towards something other than your good as a being. To say it another way, immorality is acting in such a way that compromises your future ability to act rationally. (seeing the proper ends of functions and bringing them about)Sexual stuff is notable in particular because of the intense pleasure and bonding aspects involved in it. Meaning misusing the sexual faculty creates a blindness in the intellect since you are binding yourself to misusing those faculties, including your intellect. Using the reproductive faculty in a way not contrary to it's end is not only not sinful, it's good, it's the completion of your being to some extent.Using it in a way where you intentionally frustrate it's end undermines your ability to act rationally, so it's evil. Our nature is how we are held in existence by God who makes us be the sort of thing we are. Our ability to will/cause anything is a limited use indirectly of his casual/creative power. We receive our nature from him, with it's causal power, and are obliged (under pain of losing our ability to reason) to see the good of our nature, and our faculties in particular and will to bring them about or at least not intentionally frustrate them. That's why abstinence is fine but sodomy is bad
