If we believe it was fake and most people believe it then it's fake. No matter what the evidence might be, our mind can change past and future if we keep gaslighting ourselves.

the mind makes it real
>>
>>41144430
Wouldn't that imply that we live in a perpetual present and that the past and future are forever nebulous and ever-changing?

It seems difficult to rationalize such an existence. I understand that concept of the mind manifesting reality, however, to alter events in time would open up a serious can of worms which, hopefully, isn't easily exploited.

Very synchronous to see this after I dealt with all of the hypotheticals and concocted retroactive solutions to them.

I'm very bad at physics but I remember reading about an experiment on photons coming from a star very far away, traveling many centuries before reaching us, that in between passed by something (I don't remember, maybe a black hole) centuries ago. When they changed something in the present, it changed the behavior of the photons when they passed by that thing, centuries ago, which either proved that retrocausality is real or that everything is already written.
>>
Let me check the past to confirm bro

But how would that work if you already remember most of the notable events in detail?

Everything affects everything, the questions are how much, when and where, in what ways. That everything affects everything else is simply logical.

This study suggests thought can move matter, if that is true then why not time and space? I can! Through this we can learn better occult powers via choosing what cells our nervous systems do and don't have!

Maybe thought and consciousness are independent of time and space, and they influence matter because that's the only other constant that can remain relatively unchanged by space-time
>>
>>41145951
What would be required for a retroactive change substantial enough to create a feedback loop which directly influences the present? I have doubts that simply thinking about one alternative past scenario hard enough can cause it to "retcon" into your life
>>
>>41144430
Guess they mean since the choice was already made it pushes a different choice albeit minute. Just a hypothesis though.

Easy there morpheus.

Don't be scared, after all just like you said, it's minute changes
No one has created a method for large deviations or revisions

I don't know the underpinnings, what I do know is that it stems from retrocausality. Christopher Langan does go into retrocausality as part of his CTMU.

Further evidence supporting the block universe theory from relatively which as a physicist I always believed in. Basically time and space exists as blocks which sit side by side so altering one block can affect the other regardless of direction. Interestingly Christianity has always taught this too, that prayer in the present can allow God to act in the past as he is beyond space and time so go figure

your senses dont generate an analgoue of the outside world, they directly transmute the outside to inside and spin it up in such a way it can be stored... to say this another way, your memory is a piece of the past tucked away into your mind, its not a low fidelity analogue.
