>>41147231Went camping with a few friends, one of them and I are heavy smokers, we noticed we didn’t have enough cigarettes for the night so we went on a walk to the nearest town to find cigarettes. We found them, but it was nighttime now. On our way back we come across a lady that stroke conversation and asked us what we were doing in town, etc… Suggests we take a shortcut to our campsite, it’s through a dark as fuck crop field, no crops though, just a sketchy dark trail in the middle of nowhere, we could barely see what we had in front of us thanks to the moonlight.Friend and I are fucking terrified but we soldier on and follow the trail.Eventually get to a big tree, middle of nowhere, clear silhouette of a man just standing there. Stop immediately and ask friend if he is seeing the same thing, he confirms, both shitting bricks but we keep walking. As we get closer to the tree, the man crouches…Ask friend, he saw it.We get there, it’s a dog, staring at us, no bark, no nothing, he’s just sitting there, watching us. I omitted a couple of details, I wanted to make it short, but it definitely made the experience much more bizarre:Throughout this small town, we saw these posters made by the locals basically saying to be wary of packs of wild dogs.Also, when we were walking to town, we came across this small store ran by an old frail lady, probably in her 70’s, she didn’t have cigarettes, but she pointed us in the right direction, while she was giving us directions, these couple of dogs came up to her and started biting her… like in a very aggressive manner, and she was just swatting them with a rolled up magazine while telling us how to get to this other store. Just fucking weird, man.
