And then there's the question if they're another species, in a genetic sense, or humans who were turned into vampires through magic or technology. If a human corpse, that is undead-alive through dark magic, is a human or not is a matter of definition.I would say that vampires don't fit so well as non-human intelligence.

The natural NHI people are angels, demons, and nature spirits. Angels and demons use human bodies. Nature spirits are shape-shifters and just seem to be humans. They can also manifest and disappear in and out of the material world. Their original shapes are various, they can have horns, wings, furr, spider form, dragon form etc.The non-natural people are clones (humans but under artificial mind-control) or androids (robots that appear human). There is a debate, but I wouldn't call androids beings, because they're machines and not really sentient.
