NEW MANDELA JUST DROPPED: apparently crocodiles can basically live forever but end up dying only as a result of accidents, illnesses, hunting, confrontations etc but they never die of old age

everyone's been saying this recently as if it was a trivial fact everybody knows

but growing up being obsessed with reptiles and biology, NO ONE was ever talking about that "fact". I don't remember reading or hearing anything along those lines growing up

I knew this was supposedly the case with lobsters, but was unaware that it was the same for crocodiles.... these Mandela effects are gettin wild.

Planatir is the biggest open conspiracy of our time, Peter Theil is essentially a man that wants to be the antichrist(he thinks he’s a Christ). No one post about this on this board, odd. Project Gotham, Project Foundary, a sudden 100x growth upon election of Donald Trumps second term, doj contracts going back to 2019, planatir software “glitches” allow fbi agents to access data “accidentally”, extra legally to identify targets, Predictive crime stopping, a full panopticon of surveillance, CEOs made army officers, army reserves sent into major cities with large grass roots political movements, “deportation” of citizens, people disappearing. It’s happening right now in front of us, the biggest conspiracy of the 21st century, the complete and total highjack of the us government by a few big tech companies running the largest surveillance system to ever exist, ai made to prosecute and track us, access to sensitive government data. It’s all happening directly infront of you and you are talking about an imagined rapture.
Planatir technology controls your life and government now, good luck. Planatir Planatir Planatir Planatir

I never really heard this.

Also, apparently North America has native crocodiles on Florida, not invasive ones. I find this hard to believe. I always thought crocodiles were only in the Old World(Africa, Australia, etc.).
>>
>>41165929
crocs are pure florida dude
>>
Reminder that most "mandela effect" bullshit is just retards misremembering events because they are retarded and didn't pay attention in school or got the real thing mixed up with a parody.
>>
>>41165929
also there are legit alligators native to china.

I only knew Schrödinger's famous cat-in-a-box thought experiment in the version that makes the most sense: there is a cat in the box, or there isn't; you can't interact with the box to find out whether the cat is in it or not. The thought experiment aims to show that reality only materializes when it is perceived by a conscious mind, and that until then, all possible realities exist simultaneously. Today, however, they tell you that the cat is in the box and that there are all kinds of potentially lethal things in the box with the cat, such as poison gas or even a damn nuclear warhead. This means that the cat is almost 100% certain to be dead, but the question in this context is, absurdly, “Is the cat alive or dead?” This is completely irrational and reduces the entire experiment to absurdity. I wondered about this until I realized that it was probably just a translation error. In the original, the question is: Does the cat EXIST or not? And not: Is the cat DEAD or not? The cat must first EXIST in order to be dead or alive. But you cannot prove the existence of the cat in the box until you have convinced yourself through your perception that it exists or does not exist.

What in the Mandela effect are you talking about right now? Anon, is the FBI gonna need to put you feet first into a woodchipper for willingly searching and viewing CP on the Internet? Wtf did I just read. We're gonna need the death penalty for this kind of shit so we can keep the pedos in line and put them in their place and be done with it

op is full of bullshit.
>>
>>41164664
Wait till op hears about how long tortoises and parrots live.
Seriously though just finding something out isn't a sudden Mandela effect. A lot of animals live a lot longer than humans
>>
Crocodiles do live long but not infinitely. What makes them spectacular that they reached their evolutionary peak long long time ago and prehistoric crocodile fossils show that the species have gone next to none evolutionary development for long time.

I thought aligators were from North America and crocodiles from Africa
>>
i think alot of water animals/insects survived during the asteroid impact because the water was less affected than the land. I think land creatures had it harder with climate change, asteroids and volcanos affecting them first.

>>41170446
crocodiles are very prehistoric and....dumb. They even will try to cannibalize each other.
>>
>>41170514
>They even will try to cannibalize each other

I fail to see what's dumb about that.

Schroedinger's cat is about quantum physics what kind of sense does it make to position a t6hiught experiment that just goes "well there COULD be a cat in a box but you'll never know"?
It illustrates that quantum superposition asks you to consider a situation where a cat is simultaneously alive and dead. It isn't about not knowing if it is there or not, you just never understood it.
>>
You are confusing mandela effect with just being retarded.

I live in a place where the stars are bright. Well, the milky way has changed colour, its fucking grey now. All of the stars are a more silver grey colour, they used to be a rich dazzling blue colour. Wtf is going on.

Shit looks like this now?

So biological immortality is sort of a meme. There aren't any species with it that live more than a century and a half.
The older you get, the bigger you get.
The bigger you get, the more resources and energy your body needs to function well enough to remain alive.
Lobsters are probably the most well known for the trait, and they die when they get too old because molting becomes impossible. The energy required to fully molt to repair injuries and grow becomes more than they can contain in their bodies. They die as a result.
Every species with it are in the same boat. They still effectively die of old age.

What's going on is you're looking at art. Not photography. They're all digitally touched up to look pretty. The artksts are just using a different color pallet for the stars these days, probably off of updated information from our space telescopes.
>>
>>41169713
>Muh fucking retards who fail to understand how this was just an allegory to imply you shouldnt take an expected outcome as fact turning it into a pseudo philosophical nonsense

God I hate the modern age. Diogene is rolling at such speed in his tomb it could power a small city if you were to give him a copper belt.
>>
>>41164664
Ive never heard this about crocs, but i have about lobsters.
>>
>>41170894
It's not even about that.
It's about how retarded a particular area of quantum mechanics was.
It was created as a joke to mock idiots.
Now idiots take it as something 3deep5me and spend hours waxing poetically about the cat itself.
The absolute fucking irony.
