I don't have funds to fight my scumbag now former landlords in court over $60 dollars. But I briefly argued with them before I sent them two zelle requests one for the full security deposit (which I am legally entitled to because they missed the deadline) labelled "Legal and ethical option" and one with the $60 taken off labeled "other option". Neither request was declined or paid but before the argument I made first request for the full amount which was declined. I haven't gotten an argumentative or threatening email back either.
