I think because I poured too much too strong drain cleaner down the shower last night it made the clog way worse and drain way slower after I poured it and there is now a leak running into the basement, caulking has been applied but if that doesn't stop the leak then I'll have to get a new shower which I can't afford.I just want no damage to the pipes or whatever and for the shower not to be clogged

Also because it's harder for them to dral with if it doesnt unclog your pupes and they get called anyway, now they have to dealth with the pipe being pull of acid.All that said if it's a blockage from hair and regular shpwer stuff and it DTILL DRAINS just not well, I've used Liquid Fire to clear that shit out for years with great success. It if doesnt drain at all DO NOT use strong acid cleaners. You don't want that shit coming back up. So if it does drain a little = strong shit, if it doesnt drain at ll =plumber. Btw if you got plant roots breaking into the pipes weed killer helps moreso with that. Also probably only do tgat if it drains though. If you can get a plumber to evacuate yoyr pupes and tell you what yoyr situqtion is ao you know how you can handle it yourself going forward.

>>41171659Well at this point with an indoor leak already occuring you basically have to get a plumber. Something aint right.Is the shower on the ground floor? If sewage smell is coming out of the showerdrain or where the pipe was leaking it could that it just isn't draining good because of gravity, if your house has been sinking at all it can fuck up how the pipes drain depending on where your drainage feeds to. Also could be why there is a leak, perhaps nothing changed with the pipe but just now it is full of water. If you are genuinely destitue and 100% cabt get a prlumber to find out, there's always potential to ghetto-rig by cutting off your shower drain pipe as close as you can to the shower and redirecting it to another drain like in the basement or out a window or sum'n
